I am a first time grower and a senior citizen if that matters to anyone. I have a journal started but although it gets viewed, it doesn't get a lot of comment.

So maybe I can just get this one question answered here in this new thread.

Here is one of my plants (White Widow-Ministry of Cannabis) at Day 31.

My one (maybe two) question(s):

Is this plant WAY AHEAD, A LITTLE AHEAD, or JUST ABOUT WHAT YOU WOULD EXPECT in terms of its development???? If it is running ahead of typical schedules, how much ahead do you think it is running??

Thank you in advance.

It does seem ahead in bud development. Like verticality was stopped early. When did you start pushing bloom nutes? (If at all)

Maybe provide a link to your journal here, so we can refer to what you've been up to...:)

Genetics: 60% Sativa 40% Indica
Flowering Time: 8-10 weeks
Yield: 450 gr per sq. mt. indoor, up to 300 gr outdoor
THC 18%

That is from their website. Looks like you have some sort of dwarf plant, that strain is sat. dom - a month old I'm thinking two feet high or so...not sure what's going on but it looks healthy and I'm sure it will be good medicine!! keep it green. :peace:

edit- by the way, i can't open the pic, but it looks beautiful - as in lush, green and healthy. Keep doing what your doing.

I would say a little ahead of average but this isn't an exact science by any means. I just looked through your journal and things look just fine. Fast finishers are great as long as they pack on the bud, and yours looks like it's going to do very well in flower.

Try putting a link to your journal in your sig & you might get more activity. And be sure to visit other grow journals and comment on them. Many of the people that follow my stuff are the ones that I follow along with as well. :Sharing One:

just took a look at ur thread looks nice bro i would agree it looks a little farther along in bud development but thats not bad at all just means quicker harvest for you, and nice job for ur first time LST looks like its helping maintain an even canopy

What complete IDIOT would attempt a first grow using a different concept for a grow cabinet?? Me.

Here is my grow cabinet thread:

https://www.autoflower.org/f5/conv-wine-cabinet-different-approach-31922.html

(I have the technical "chops" to do this kind of conceptual work. Colleagues, if they knew, would think this is awfully "small bore" for me.)

I don't know strains, just physics/engineering/technology. I thought I would get early budding and rapid development during early stages then the cabinet's advantages would get less and less with the plant's heights.

I had hoped that this EXPERIMENT would be of interest. There are always unintended consequences ...I don't know know whether rapid development came at the expense of plant height or what.

You guys are restoring my interest in continuing on AFN. I was close to bailing ...

Thanks again so much...
