DIY Opinions on tent and components

Looks nice and compact yes :)

That's ok. I ended up going with most of the gear that I listed above. More because I don't anticipate myself going larger scale than 1 or 2 plants. My time is fairly limited that I can devote to this and I think I'd like to get better at managing and training 1 or 2 than having a big crop of half-assed plants. Plus I'm starting to play around with other plants like fruit and orchids so the side comparments will be nice for that.

Thanks! I did end up grabbing a few sets of adjustable ropes and ratchets as well. They may or may not be handy, we'll see. It might just be simpler to do what you mention and change the height of the plant via boxes but we'll see how it all works out once I have things put together.

I won't have time to set up until next week, but once I do I'll come back to post some pictures
I use boxes and I cut up styrofoam packages, which works well in cubes.

Well I’m back for an update. I’ve received my gear and have things generally set up. I have to say, it is kinda short as was pointed out, but I think it’ll be fine as I was planning on playing around with topping and LST. I’ve got the light in a fixed position for now and I have ducting out the top to an outside 4” in-line fan and carbon filter.

I have 2 girls (seeds from a random pack so I don’t know strains) that have been on the go which I’ve tossed in to finish flowering. The small one was root bound in a solo cup before transplant and never recovered so I just kept it going like a little bonsai. The other was a pretty successful grow other than some tip burn. I don’t expect huge yields though since it grew in combination of LED bulbs and outdoors.

Once these finish I’ll be playing around with the light height and layout. Then maybe start a grow journal on a new plant in the new digs.

That's a warehouse lol the girls look happy. You will need to top or LST for sure.
