LOL, yea I haven't downloaded my skynet trial yet, so still getting web work done the old fashioned way

:pighug:Dinesh buddy, great to see you here now! :pass: :d5::smokeout: Feel free to ask anything you need from us, and upload any vid's, pics, etc. into this thread please! In fact, I can look into getting a no-reply thread set up to allow the posting of info vids, etc. into one area for easy access... if there are questions, folks can come here to ask and research specifics,...
I'm liking how Transport is working on my defc. FairBreath so far! Way faster, and older leaves correct to near normal appearance... it's only been a few treatments so far, and I'm thinking, from the early start of this issue, and persistence into all new growth over weeks now, it's something inherent with the plant itself,... her pot-mate sister is doing just fine, and oddly, the defc. one is the taller of the two!

:toke: BII, indeed it is! Most products carry the Si in the form of Potassium silicate, which readily absorbed and integrated into the plants cell walls... there are many benefits to Si-- here's a link to a great summary article ( https://www.autoflower.org/threads/link-to-silica-benefits.47356/ )... OF recommends that in general, whatever you use, reduce the foliar based dosage in half when using it with Transport, which is the carrier product in their line-up...:greenthumb:... at the orchid nursery I worked at, Si was a critical product used to help the plant resist fungal/bacterial attack, and improve environmental stress tolerances,.. many of these were mount only plants, so foliar is the only way they fed! Also made a big difference when reviving and protecting new imports that were in lousy shape after traveling half the world away and being abused! One caveat, which I've been discussing with Dinesh: don't use a wetting agent/water spreader when you use Transport, like you normally would doing foliar spraying,... :greencheck:

A general question about foliar feeding: Is silica (silicates) a good candidate for foliar application? Is foliar silica taken up efficiently and bioavailable to the plant?

Yes love, love, love silica,:woohoo: extremely underused in my opinion. should be used in the tank as well as foliar feed. It needs to be put into the category of essential along side a base nutrition, it has so many benefits.

Middle of nowhere US. I ordered from amazon.

I may have driven through in some of my travels!!!!! I have been to about 40 US states so far, and some small towns along the way that I probably would have never seen.

There is one option on Amazon for Overgrow in the 1 liter bottle. Perfect to try it out, so I just ordered some. A 4 liter option would be nice to have. How long does a 1 liter bottle last?
Hi buddy,i can give you my thoughts on your question, even used as directed would depend on how heavy you spray and how many plants you grow/treat,i prolly over do it at times and under do it at other times,i do stop use a few weeks before finish, the smaller bottles of transport, watts and rev sold separatly are the concentrated bottles to make your own mix and may last as long as a big bottle of overgrow, @opticfoliar will be able to clarify as these are just my thoughts..peace
