I'm glad to be able to test this new strain for @tobe of Healing Path Genetics: Orange Assault x Peanut Butter Breath (fast photo F1 regulars). . I soaked 12 seeds, and all cracked open. One didn't get the cotyledon's open in time to survive, and 1 is a slowpoke in the Solo cup, not yet ready to transplant. Ten have been transplanted over the last 3 days to 1-gallon pots of coco/perlite. I'm calling them all day 23, counting from when I could see the first real leaves coming out of the cotyledons.

[edit: that was day 5, not 23! ]

Hi @Mara Cachafa
It's was a long ride for the seeds to make it to you, so nice they arrived and you give them a try. Cross my fingers for some nice phenos.

Have a nice day

Here's the crew of OA x PBB on day 18. I don't know why 4 of them are slower, they all get the same feed and the same light. Maybe different batches of coco, or maybe more traumatized early-on. Or maybe the runts are the males? That would be nice. I keep looking for signs of sex, and then I remember that they won't sex until I flip the lights. @tobe, is topping OK? Any recommendation on when to flip the lights? They've been under 16 hours of light so far (600 PPFD, 35 DLI). If you have no preference I'd top the taller ones this week, and reduce the lights to 12 or 13 hours a couple of days later.

For sure you can top them , I can't say exactly when to flip lights, it looks like the taller ones are ready but I would top them , give them one more week to recover the stress and then flip to 12/12.

The girls and boys are 31 days old. All are topped now above the 5th or 6th node. The lights have been on 12/12 for 8 days. Some are looking fem. Getting crowded, but I'll give them more time to reveal gender before I remove the males, I don't want to make a mistake.
