Hey! I meant to respond yesterday but something came up when I was halfway through... I’ve read that you’ve already decided on a method for now and have already ordered some supplies , but just in case it doesn’t work out as well as you’re hoping I wanted to offer this as as possible short term solution. You could dry in paper bags inside your tentand have the paper bags in a box to further protect them from lightif you have the room to do so... not as great a solution as @slowandeasy recommendation but it can do well for you as time is of the essence for you right now! Hey slow, I think I’ll totally take you up on a link to that $100 solution!!!
Will throw up some links to supplies and cost in few for you guys.

That little pc fan has enough power to work with a carbon filter?
Hell yeah. I have made 5 different ones using the same fan. Actually, check out my White Crack grow. It's in the same tent I dry in at my personal house. I throw 2 Cobs in there when I don't dry stuff and grow sometimes. It is 100% stink free and keeps the temps perfect when on. Actually, I use that space to start plants at times as well. I turn that computer fan off and start my seeds in it. I have made them in smaller tents and also a 3x3. Those fans are powerful.

I can’t find the thread, but I’m very interested in seeing the way you set this up. Is the fan pushing or pulling? You run it nonstop? I’m wondering if it would move enough air to work on my grow tent. I hate the sound of an exhaust fan even with the speed controller turned all the way down. You get used to the noise, but I’d rather not have to.

BTW, you can even hook them up to a speed controller. You would be surprised at how little power is needed to maintain negative pressure. So if you have a low humidity winter you can dial it down slower. Or if humid, turn it up. You can use that fan to grow full cycles with LED lights and zero smell as well. Cheap set up that works well. I can't dry any other way. My wife gets pissed at smells!

Pulling. Use some Foil tape and I just put mine hooked up to the duct sucking the air through the filter. You can put Inline or at the end of the duct. Your choice.

My apologies @Zipz55 for spamming your journal with my interview of @slowandeasy i just have one more question...

Why not something like this? Is it just the price? I already have one and figured it wasn’t designed to have a load on it and wouldn’t work for a carbon filter.... if I can use that and put the hyperfan away I would be THRILLED
