Hey m8.. Is that a self watering base shes on? Can I ask you what day/week you started her on that?

In the beginning I top water until first sign of run off, and feed the reservoir to about an eighth of capacity. Then I refill as needed to that level, watching for the moment the reservoir begins emptying quicker than normal. Typically around day 20-30 it's ready for a complete fill up.
