Anyone have any tips on securing an oscillating fan to the wall of their grow tent? I'm building out a new 5x5, and I normally work with more space and just put out a pedestal fan but want to use as much floor space as possible for grow space. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance ya'll!

Right on, yeah I may end up going the pole mount route. But do you know how to secure one of those hurricanes to your tent wall?
The only way I have seen is buying or making a ladder bar or peg board that secures to the tent frame. Gorilla grow tents make one, but its $100.

I take one of those Holmes Blizzard fans (which is THE smallest oscillating fan that I've ever been able to find) ..and I remove it from its base. I then take the clip off of one of the shop lights seen below and it fits right into the neck of the Blizzard.

Or I just hang the Blizzard fan upside-down. They don't seem to last for >8-12 months before the main oscillation gear dies, but they remain useful as stationary fans.

Hanging it upside-down you can aim it more downward, with most ways of positioning it upright in normal position limiting the ability to point it downward.

Hi D, have you heard of box fans/ box ventilators?
They do a really good job to speak from my own experience.
I use them succesfully for years now.
The rotating grid in front of the fan wheel directs the air in every direction ( left right and up and down) and circulates the air very well.
As far as i know there are 3 speed and 4 speed models out there, both max 50W. Level 1 is enough in a 4x4, so consumption is low.
Just make shure it 's not to close to the tent wall because it sucks the tent an it can suck air only from the side and has to work harder.
That's the way I fucked one up. But aside from that, mine were pretty durable. I hang em with S hooks ( on the grid fan wheel housing on the back).
I can get them in my area from 20€ on, so worth a try.

Have a nice sunday!

Just thought I add some pics to my post from yesterday. Many brands out there. Just picked a pic, no nothing about the brand on the pic.

I don't know what it is about these Blizzards but the ones that I've hung upside down have all had main oscillation gear issues after about a year. The one that never got hung upside down has lasted four or five years with no issues.
