Actually, they make a soil out of it here.

To me, it seems like miracle grow with time released chemical nutrients.

But I have NOT researched it so I don't know for sure.

I would be interested in hearing from other's as well.

My two cents.

Osmocote is a slow release food and as such, not suited for growing weed. Osmocote is owned by Scotts, the same people who manufacture the Miracle Grow line. Generally speaking all Scotts products should be avoided.
