Outdoor Outdoor strains for early Spring

Regarding Stitch's strains, you might want to look at his Super Autos, sold through his Flash Seeds sight. They get bigger and yield more than dwarfs, but take a bit longer, around 120 - 140 days, depending on the strain, so should finishing within your time frame. They were bred as a fast finishing alternative to photo sativas. I've grown his Super Cali Haze in 10 gallon pots outdoors. Got to around 5' tall and average yield was 4.5 oz per plant.

35° Lat in the mountains, sounds like a nice place to grow.
Do you need them to finish by late june, or can they go into july?
Either way you'l be safest with a full auto, have a look at "budweider" at rcmc, its a deep chunk auto.

By the end of June they must be at least a week cured, preferably more so I can go away with my mind where it should be:P So yes, fully autos, planted ~end of March, moved outdoors 3-4 weeks later, harvest early-mid June

Muddy, SCH is the best auto i grown so far in and out, best yield, and best smoke for my taste :D not for this season tho

I hope auto frisian dew proves to be what DP claims cos it's been chosen :toke:

WoS' AKR seem good for this too, and it's been around for a few years now

Might even do some mi5 and kvs seed runs and see how they do

You need to plant them asap, because a 60 day auto can take 70-80 outdoors, depending on conditions, then your gonna need another 4 weeks to dry and cure a bit.
I would also look for outdoor hardy auto's, so you've got some extra protection against the elements.

A little update: all is finished and gone now, the auto frisian dew smoke was fantastic, but they yielded much less than the mi5s and KVS that were grown next to them. Seemed not as hardy as outdoor strains should be
