Do plants tend to grow faster indoors under lights? I ask because I see some plants that look to be twice the size of my outdoor autos at four weeks.

I threw a plant out on the patio at around 4 weeks, due to lack of space. Basically to let it do or die, and its the healthiest and biggest of my 3 plants, even though its 3 weeks younger. I have kept watering and feeding . I think its going to produce the same as the others, but it's just healthier in every way.

I've seen photos grown outdoors that would to big to fit into any grow tent. All we are doing indoors is trying our best to mimic the perfect growing conditions that mother nature provides outdoors.

Let me expand on my question: does modifying the light schedule (indoor) cause the plants to grow quicker than outdoors? Just wondering

It is hard to beat the power of the sun! There are too many variables to make a distinction.
