New Grower Paradise seed, Pandora X 3 & Royal Queen seed, Creamatic X 2

Watered for a week with plain areated ph 6.1 water and the tips of the new growth is curling. I raised the light to 16in, plants were starting to streach, tallest 14in. Today I watered with 10ml/gal 800ml/plant of advanced cal-mag grow (4-0-0) followed by 600ml/plant of plain water everything 6.1. Monday I will give them 5ml FF grow big and 5ml tiger bloom per gal 800ml per plant along with some plain water and test run off. The color is still good and the buds are forming well.

just caught this thread Gent, im subed...i have wanted to grow Pandora for some time now and appreciate watching yours:toke:

how/which way are the leaves curling?

The leaf curl seems to be getting better since I moved the light up. I had it at 12 inches trying to keep them from streaching, forgot this a 240w not the old 135w (pics on right). The buds on the creamatic (center pic) seem to be developing quicker than the pandoras (second pic from left). I don't think it was nute burn at all but stress. The tallest is 17in, both plants should get about 36in but I think with these 3gal bags maybe 30in.

your exactly rite moving your lite up...we call that curling "tacoing"(seen in pic #4) and its from heat stress...your doing a fine job bro:smokebuds:

Thanks smash. I was having trouble controling temps, the basement laundry room was getting into the mid 60's and so was the tent. I put a small heater in the room, too close to the tent intake, and I guess the very hot, dry air was the problem. I have moved the heater to the other side of the room. I think this Blackstar 240w uv puts out less heat than the 135w UFO 7 band. The tallest is now almost 20in but looking leggy, the others still have good color but slower growth. The Pandoras have nice, strong side branches with good bud sites that are in need of support already.

View attachment 181858View attachment 181857View attachment 181856Day 35. The leaf curl (left) isn't getting worse so I guess she is ok. The heater I put in the room to bring up my tent trmps has lowered my humidity to the mid 30's and I have been watering every other day. I just feed with FF grow big (5ml/gal) and tiger bloom (5ml/gal) and this weekend I will feed once more with the cal-mag grow from Advanced. Next week I hope to see vertical growth stop, tallest now 21in, so I can make the swich to all bloom nutes. This grow I have been changing my T5's from 10,00k for the first 10 days to 6500k for veg, next week I will put in 3500k bloom.

Your plants are lovely. Great job!

Day 37 and vertical growth is slowing, 1/2in last 24hrs., temps are low 70's without the heater but humidity is up to low 40's. The color is deep green so I will skip the cal-mag with nitro and just water till the vertical growth slows some more. I was trying to get the plants to 24-30in before bloom, looks like I will be short, 20-24in., maybe. The Pandoras are more demanding than I want but the buds on the side branches are impressive and grow upwards real nice. They are showing all the stress, the creamatics much less.

One inch growth in 5 days, four of the girls are between 20-22in (runt 16in), looks like the stress will keep these girls short. I changed my t5s' from 6400k grow to 3000k bloom and fed with FF tiger bloom and big bloom 10ml/gal each 800ml per plant. My temps stay low 70's upper 60's humidity low 40's, this didn't help growth either. I have added a heat mat and humidifier to my list of things to get for the next grow.

View attachment 184927View attachment 184926View attachment 184925View attachment 184924Day 41. The first pic is the BS240w uv at 16in, much better coverage than my old 135w ufo, next grow I will use both the 135 and 240. Watered with ateated water and 10ml/gal Advanced cal-mag bloom @6.0ph, 800ml/each with 500ml/plant plain 6.1 areated water. I am going to use more bloom nutes than I have in the past so to keep salt down I will water with plain water next.
