When I turned an old tv stand into my grow cab I put the passive intake about halfway up. My filter is at the top circulating the air via an inline fan outside the box.

should I have put that passive at the bottom of the box or near the bottom? Is this going to cause major issues for my current grow or can I make a change when this one is done?

Got an oscillating fan in there.

Actually it's fine the way you did it, though ideally as heat rises they say it's best to have it exhausting out of the top and to have it passively be sucked in from the bottom... The bottom line is if your able to maintain good temps in there, don't sweat it... Besides you don't want to hack the stand up anymore... :2cents:

Thank you, Yoda!

Would my temps likely to be lowered by moving the passive to the bottom of the box? I hit 91 today and freaked out a bit.

Ooohh that is a little high... Could you explain your setup? Ideal temps 70-85.... Also most accurate temp measurement would be at canopy height as that's what the plants are feeling.... Tell us a little more info... Lights, size of grow box etc... Got any pics? The way I have my tents set up is with the carbon filter inside the tent... The inline fan ontop of that pulling air in and than I have that duct through my cool hood and out the window.... :stylez rasta smoke:
