Day 78: trichomes are about 75% cloudy. One more week?

As expected, the top buds had more amber and few clear trichomes. I decided to do a partial harvest to let the lower buds mature. I still see a good amount of pistols reaching out. We’ll see what a week or two produces! The harvested buds are very sweet and sticky. Lots of citrus.
I’ve started my next grow adaventure. It will definitely be in the EB junior ! For those with limited space and time, I can’t think of a better approach. Stay tuned

Since you're gonna let her run a little bit longer, I would suggest going in there in cleaning up your girl of the dead and dying leaves.
You're gonna have to do it anyway and this remove any possibility of mold developing on dying tissue.

Earthbox juniors are great! The setup and operation procedures are very easy and simple to follow. The only thing you really have to worry about is the selection of the strain you're going to grow. It works best with the smaller auto girls. Sure, you can grow larger autos with just the size of the nutrient nutrient mound, but there is only so many root tips in such small container . It can be done but it's just easier to fall behind and you will never catch up .

Your girl there shows why this is the method that I'll teach veterans whenever it becomes legal here.

You did the method proud!

Wow, that’s a huge compliment. I’m honored.

Many grows ago, I posted a question on how many plants I should grow in my 2.3 x2.3. One response was “20”. Well, that was amusing. I did try staggering starts using four 5 gallon GroBuckets. Yields were smaller but OK. The issue was the amount of effort required. It was impossible to optimize the conditions for the different stages the plants were in. I’m into easy!
So, my recommendation is; for every four square foot of space, one Earth Box Jr. and a scrog net is ideal. I almost forgot, the other major factor is the organic soil (thanks again, WB!). I’m not sure why folks spend so much on soil. Get a good sized bin, some red wigglers and learn how to re-amend your soil. Cheap, easy and fun!

Well that’s my two cents for today! I’ll wrap up this grow and post the results. Then I’ll document another grow on this thread. Thanks for stopping by.
