Grow Mediums PH in dwc changing

I rekon make a fresh res with same nutes as before and just use the phd water. Keep an eye on ur ph and ec and judge what you need to do by what they are doing. Worked out ur ec is about .8 so i dont think thats too high as i started mine at 0.9 but you use diff nutes so keep an eye on ur ph and you will see the plant will tell you what she wants

well lets see its been twelve hrs PPM started at 380 there down to 360 and PH started at 5.8 its down to 5.3 needed about 4 cups plain PH water and a hairs touch of baking soda to bring the PH back up . The water intake slowed down some Im just going to keep an eye on it and see if it settels itself.

Well I might have a handel on this PH thing that was going on . I did what everybody said and lowerd my nutes to try and get the ph to stop dropping but that didn't help it just made things worse not only did my PH continue to drop like a lead ball thru butter but my plant started showing sings of nute deficinaties. So after reading 4.5 million post on the subject I thru my hands in the air and figured to go my own route so I started by changing my nute salution and bringing it up to 800 PPM then I PH it for 6.1 figueing it would drop some. Then I mover my air pump outside of the grow box in order to bring my water temp down I also changed my airstone to a smaller one . Well its been 12hrs and my nutes are 780 my ph is 6.2 and my water temp is 67 deg everything seems to be holding its own . I think my big problem was 1 nutes to low and plant wasn't getting what it needed... 2 water temp I was at 74 deg before from what I could figure that was border line to high and would affect the ph / ppm / water condition / and what nutes the plant could take up . Ill no more in the morning

Yep got it checked this morning and water temp is 68 PH is 5.8 PPM 600 she drank 3 cups of liquid overnight so it looks like she is hungry and just needed her nutes jumped up some. I just gave her plain water today depending on what she does today I might have to start changing her bucket every other day to keep the nuts up to par..... well will see .

I would suggest using actual ph up/down. Using things like baking soda and vinegar doesnt tend to make your ph stable and I've heard baking soda in particular is bad for plants.

yep I was using baking soda at first but its to hard to judge how much to use its very strong you definitely need something more controllable so I did go buy some PH up but the trick is to not need it at all and if you do don't change the PH it drastically that will hurt your plant also. The trick is to not need it one thing I did notice is when my plant is happy its smell is very strong but when something is outa wack it has no smell at all.
