i know that i have duplicate threads, but what should i do when i have
questions that i didnt think of when i opened a new post,
should i edit my post,
please help

First off, When you start a thread, it's a place to have a continued discussion on a range of topics...just because the title says one thing, doesn't mean the discussion can't change within that thread. Think of it as a conversation.

Second: It seems you may not understand the term "pheno"...

Pheno is short for phenotype and it only refers to the different ways a plant can express (show) it's genetic traits. Like children...think of a Sativa dominant plant (long skinny leaves) as parent #1 and an Indica dominant plant (fat short leaves) as parent #2...when they have kids, some of the offspring will look more like parent #1 and some will look more like parent #2...so different "ingredients" are taking the forefront in how the offspring look.

When someone says you seem to have a "Sativa-dominant" pheno, they are just saying that it looks like it's showing more of the Sativa characteristics in the recipe than the Indica characteristics.

Generally speaking, any plant is going to have multiple types of offspring, not just one, singular type. Phenotype indicates a general "rule of thumb" for a plant only in so far as it identifies whether it's Sativa dominant (those take a little longer to reach full maturity) or Indica Dominant (which take a little less time) or if they indicate a particular trait that is already known via it's parents to offer some other specific information....it's heritage. i.e. you know you're part French because your father's mother was French...

The way to check whether or not it's time to harvest is to check the trichomes for a cloudy or amber color (as opposed to clear), to see if the pistils (hairs) are turning orange, and to observe yellowing of the fan leaves as the plant draws the nutrients out as it reaches maturity.
