This will be my first grow with Mephisto Genetics and AutoCobs, and my first journal on AFN. I have only grown twice before this so I am a total novice. I decided to go with Sour Crack as my wife really liked the strain info in the Mephisto strain guide. I have been lurking a lot in the Mephisto section of AFN and have learned a lot from you guys, so hopefully I won't screw this up too badly!
I am excited to record my first grow journal with AFN, from everything I seen here you guys have a fantastic community.

My setup:
Lighting: 2 x 3500k AutoCob
Soil: BioBizz Light Mix
Nutes: Greenleaf MegaCrop, Sweet Candy, Bud Explosion, and CalMag if necessary

I have the AutoCobs set at 30 inches above the ladies for now. Any thoughts on if this is too high/low? I just gave them their first nutes with 1 g MC and 1 g SC per gallon.

Nice setup I will follow along, good luck!

Good luck. Don't over water. Water light amounts, around the outside of the pot. Roots seek moisture, don't water right by the stem, like many people do here. Keep the lights that high, unless they stretch. Peace, slow

The sour crack seem to be doing well; much better at 10 days than the other autoflowers I have grown. I have been giving them approximately 100 mL daily of distilled water with 1 g MegaCrop and 1/4 tsp of Sweet Candy per gallon. No issues with the nutrients so far, and I will probably go up to 2 g MegaCrop per gallon at 14 days. I have been trying the suggestion that @slowandeasy recommended of watering around the edge of the pot, no idea if that has helped with root development but it stands to reason that it will.

I'm not sure why the images flipped onto their sides... Oh well. Happy growing!

Looking good, I agree with @slowandeasy , water around the outer edges. My last grow I watered right up close to the stalks and probably overwatered as well and even though the end result was good, the initial growth was rather Frankensteinish.
This grow I started watering small amounts out from the stalks and I think the root system grew much better, but I'll let you know when the grow is finished and I can examine the root ball.

@slowandeasy 's suggestion made a lot of sense to me when I read it, and I imagine that the root system will reflect it when this grow is done.
