Mephisto Genetics Pick the strain for my grow test

So when my current grow is done - probably in 2-3 weeks - I am going to run some tests to see if I can increase my yields. I will be running 4 different soil makeups and feeds to see what will produce more than what I've been getting (which won't be hard).

I will be running Mephisto seeds since I really like them and they seem to be a favorite around here. I will be using the same strain in all pots so that I keep that consistent.

The strains I have at least 4 seeds of are:
SODK x Alien
Hubbabubbasmellocope
Tyrone Special
Deep Blue C
Sour Crack

All things being equal does anyone have any personal favorites or recommendations? I just want something that will be a good grower and provide me a solid base to work with. I know that most Mephisto strains will fit this need but if anyone has any personal opinions I would appreciate it.

Ive got a SODK x Alien on the go, quite a long finisher I think 11 weeks min, getting quite big though, then Sour Crack which is one of the fastest - 60dayish, ive always fancied doing a tyrone but recently fell in love with the Alien x Triangle!

Sour crack is my all time favorite! You won't get as high of a yeild with the sour crack as the other names up there but it's amazing lol and very fast. Then again it all depends on the effect you like. Sodk x alien is on the larger side so a bigger yeild and still a great smoke but more of a racy high. Sour crack was full body relaxation and even relaxes your mind. Hubbabubba would probably give you the best yeild but four of those will take up quite a bit of room. I'd go with the sour crack if yeild isn't the biggest concern.

Yield is not a huge concern but I'm just tired of getting less than 15g per plant. I know I should be getting more and plants taller than 8". I believe a lot had to do with my soil being too heavy I guess you could say.

Honestly I don't smoke a lot, I grow mostly to make meds for friends and family who are sick so the more meds I can make the more people I can help.

I do have a 4x4 tent so I'm guessing with any of these I should have enough room and I'll have a 600w led per set of 2 plants so light is not an issue either.

Just trying to get some ideas from people who have grown any of these as to their favs so I can pick from there. I know everyone is different but if I get a lot saying x or y then that tells me something.

SODK x Alien/HubbaBubbaSmelloScope/Tyrone Special - Are going to have the potential to get large...like 30"+ tall.

Deep Blue C/Sour Crack will be smaller...18"+ tall.

Both, if grown averagely or above, should yield at least 1.5oz...so well more than 15g.

So it depends on how much space you have and what you want to sign yourself up for.
If you have a ton of light, go for the big ones. If you have limited light, go for the smaller ones.
That way you'll maximize in each instance.

There's not really a bad strain in your list.

Thanks @Trapper! My tent is 6+ feet tall so height isn't an issue either. And plenty of light so it sounds like I'm good with any.

The more info the better I believe so I appreciate you chiming in here as well.

Yeah the sour crack I got about 2 ounces off of. So not a huge return but great for a 16 inch plant and super dense buds all the way down to the base. I think all of those you listed are super popular so you'll be happy with any of them. Good luck I look forward to your journal!

I believe I'm running 20/4 or 19/5 but if going 18/6 will make a difference then I can try that too.

Like I said this next round is all about testing so I'm up for anything as it can't be worse than what I'm getting now.

I will for sure have a journal and keep notes at home too. I even made a spreadsheet for the different soils and whatever so I can track water/nutes/growth and see what works the best.

Honestly that's more than I get off 2-3 plants now so you can see why i need to change things up...

Figured @mephisto would be a safe bet since they have such amazing genetics so I thought I'd be safe starting with them.
