Hello all, just wondering what the thoughts were regarding PK boosting autoflowers using the Biotabs PK booster tea / Bio-PK combination.
Given that the average lifespan of an autoflower is 10-12 weeks, when would you use each product, and at what amount? The instructions are for normal plants/photoperiod.
Currently I am doing something like:
Week 6 - PK Tea
Week 7 - nothing
Week 8 - PK Tea
Week 9 - PK Tea & Bio-PK
Week 10 - PK Tea & Bio-PK
Week 11 - PK Tea & Bio-PK
Week 12 - plain water for 7-10 days until harvest
If it's a quicker strain I'll just miss out one of the teas, always giving the first one around week 6 as the stretch slows down and the flowering begins to kick in.
The PK tea is made to instructions, and the Bio-PK is added to the tea at a rate of 10ml/L. Each plant is fed between 500ml - 1L of this tea every 7-10 days.
Also, is it normal for the PK tea to bubble over, get extremely messy, and for the granuals to never really 'dissolve' in the tea? Otherwise I'm doing something wrong.
Cheers!
