Morning people im having an issue with my 4 heavyweight fast and vast plants basically they are not really growing much they are at day 24 since sprout and was expecting so much more growth. Now they have been nute burned as i fed them to early so i no why the tips are brown however the rest of the leaf is a very pale green so not sure if i need to feed or if i have mag deficiency or something else i am soooo confused please help as my wife is screwing at me because of all the money spent and it keeps fucking up on me.

Your right about nute burn. This will also cause stunting and slow growth.Stop giving any nutes nd just use plain ph'd water.Just keep her moist and she should come back in time.

I stunted my fast and vast real bad the first time I grew. Was ph issues. Those should be alot bigger :) mine did come back but the tallest one was like 15 inches and not much yeild but smoke was awesome. Very hardy plant. All the phenos I had seemed to finish between 70-80 days from sprout. Im still learning so someone will correct me if im wrong lol, but I would be worried with as kuch as they are burnt that the ph is real low in ur soil or soil itself is 2 hot and you are nute locked. Id check the ph first and if its outa wack flush and go from there :)

Im growing in coco everything going in is at ph 5.8. tbh i'm losing the will with it just going to kill em and give up :-(

shoot i wouldnt, they will still throw out buds lol. you sure your ph is right? id still check ph runoff even if everything is 5.8 going in. i dont know if your coco came with any nutes in it or not. i still think your locked because of over feeding and it caused ph issues. i think i was feeding like 500-600ppms at that size. they def look over feed. may just be a matter of cutting back your ppms, they rebound quick. if your runnoff is good and you get your feedings right they will come back :D

Can't check runoff at the mo as just watered with ph 5.8 water and cal mag I used canna coco apparently it's nutes free have foliar sprayed with cal mag also so we'll see I'll leave till the morning and check then thanks for the advice though folks

Don't kill em, they will survive. The above advice should do the trick. Just feed em Ph'd water for a few days and see how that does. I have seen plants be that big at 24 days then turn out to have a massive stretch and end up huge. Don't get discouraged sending positive vibes your way

From what I have been able to tell is that any of the auto strains that produce very large yeilds(Think Different, AutoXtreme,AutoUltimate, Heavyweight Fast and Fast) require longer than "advertised" on the seed bank sites. I think Mr Ganjamotos AutoUltimate went 11 or 12 weeks(I may be wrong but I think so) and it yeilded 1000 g's dry. Same with Tangs AutoX I think it was 10 or 11 weeks.

I am about to do an AutoX grow and am really considering the Fast and Vast(although it is hard for me to stray from Dutch Passion so I will probably go with the AutoUltimate) but I am glad to see others have grown the F&V and the smoke was good.

What did you use to indicate the plants were done out of curiosity and do you think they could have gone longer? Sorry to highjack the thread :)

Hi Loz :)

You're having some troubles with the coco I see.
I've done a good bit of reading on through the canna info pages on the canna usa website (canna coco user myself)

You know you've burnt them - but on my screen i'm not seeing the pale underfed look - just a bit nute burnt. That'll definately slow them down.

Are you using canna coco A&B as your base nutes?
Have you checked the NPK ratios on the CalMag - Mine contains quite a hefty N dose in it.
Are you checking the EC (PPM) before watering?

My water has a backround EC of 0.5. Canna recommend never feeding under 0.8 E as it effects the buffers.

My first waterings I will add Rhizotonic at 4ml per litre (no EC and great for roots) - I will add 0.75ml of both CocoA&B base nutes
If you are using COCOA&B - makes sure you stir the A in properly before adding the B.

This little mix should take my ec around 1.0 - 1.1 - Then i will add water to dilute to 0.9 or 1.0. Then i add my PH down to 5.7 - 5.8

This shouldn't burn the little ones - and hasn't burnt my 5 day old seedlings.

Check out the coco forums - I've summarised a lot of good info from the canna FAQs that are hidden away on their site. Its in a sticky at the top and is relevent to Canna Coco.

Hope this helps!

Blue ^_^
