I compost the lower fan leaves, I have some of them, especially around the bud sites that have a good bit of "sugar" sprinkled on them. Those go in the trim bag for later. I had a buddy 35 years ago that saved all his leftover plant, leaves, stems, and all and processed it for butter... Crazy big mess bt the butter worked pretty well.
