Lighting Platinum 300P Series

Don't be hating @Groundcheck ...just trying to help! CLW and Kind make good panels and are good companies as well. Lots of different ways to grow fine bud!!!!!:pass:

Sorry @Jackson I didn't realize you already owned a p300. There are quite a few members on AFN running P300's including the admins @Son of Hobbes & @FullDuplex that are always happy to share their experience. A 4' x 3' tent may be a little large for a p300, but it should definitely light up half of the tent real nice. If you own any type of other supplemental light, it might be happy to use that as well. Just remember the more PAR photons hitting the plant canopy the more elements the plants can use in the photosynthesis process....MORE BUDS!!!

Let me know if I can be of any other assistance. Happy growing!

Hey brother I have a Platinum P450 so not sure how that quite stacks up without looking at the specs real quick, but I have it in a 4 x 4 grow tent right now and it easily covers half the grow area (the P450.) I'd feel much more comfortable having two of them in there, so at least based on that, I'd say you'd likely want at least TWO of the P300's.

You know what, let me tag @namvet25 in here, I actually think he runs a couple P300's himself and might be able to comment. Personally I would rather get two smaller units to cover the square footage than one larger unit, if only for the fact if you ever ran into a panel issue (and never had a single issue with my panel to date, knock on wood lol,) you'd have a second panel to limp through until you're up and running.

Here is one the last plants I grew out under my P450, a Sweet Seeds Red Poison:

using the P300's and seeing pretty damn good results i have to agree with @PlatinumLEDTom here. I had a 3x3 and 2 p300 were perfect for the area, its going to power that tent about right. I had tight gaps in my area, a 4x3 would have been more ideal for the situation. Only thing i would change about the grow, like i said results were stupid great for a first run. I had never used and LED panel before my test and ill tel you that it wasnt 3 weeks before i bought my 2nd, not because they didnt hold up to the claims, i saw rather fast the difference.

So more to detail, the height, is what youll need to look at here. The one thing that you have over me is that, and i wish i had more. Given the tightness of the tent and the power of the lights and my overlap i had more than enough to do what i wanted. I wish i had about another foot or so in my tent because of the power of the light. They really do put out some light.

Your situation will get you the ability to use 2 p300's properly. I could set them all the way up and get little to no stretch. This was with just the veg switches on, then bloom didn't get kicked on till bud set. Fed them what they needed and below was the result. Won a few DinaFem contests on top of the amazing bud with the below shots. Cheers out to @Dinafem-Mark for the ladies in some of these.
