Hi Waira - just lurking and I noticed your comment on the dry Koolbloom. I’m running 3 5-gallon buckets, currently on week 2 - 4 of flower. Feeding GH flora full strength and the ppms are going down. Ladies are beautiful.
It looks like I’ll be giving the ladies a one-time shot of 0.5 tsp/gallon in week 10. It sounds like you suggest I cut that way down? Just double checking. I’d hate to muck things up this late in. Also, how do I know when it’s week 10 bwahahaha.

:smoking: hey there DG! ....so, this depends on a lot of things, in the case above it was being conservative with plants already on the ropes,...
If your girls (auto's?) are looking happy, no sign of tip burn, then that last blast should be OK; it's the K that's more important at this stage for terpene production as she winds down (S and Mn are also important to this).... What exactly does the label say about dosage per gal, same as the chart? ... might be I'm wrong about their dosage amounts,.... Note the overall drop in apprx. ppm's in the chart; nute demand at this late stage is dropping fast, most the work is done, it's all about finishing with lots of stank and making sure she gets some time to "cleanse" (flush), which in fact means little to no nutes added in the final few to several days to purge out any excess still in the "pipes", and what's stored in the leaves (only certain mobile nutes are),... this makes for clean smoke! Now the whole flushing thing, that's a bone of contention, but I recommend you read pop22's Myth thread about flushing/cleansing,... I think it's pretty conditional for doing this; organics have no need to at all, and if your fan leaves are looking tapped (a good sign), then you don't really need to do much of a flush,.. some say (like pop22) it's not needed at all,.. I say if you fed heavy, have leaves that still look pretty good and/or actual nute burn, you may need to do this "flush" for no more than a week,... This term I hate, it's a misnomer, as nothing is literally getting flushed out of the plant proper, the flow of ions simply doesn't run that way, out the roots,...nothing is being
forcibly removed! What's happening is you are making the plant draw from it's own reserves, and in the case of soil/soilless, letting the roots scavenge out what's still lingering or bound up in the medium,.. there are "flushing" or clearing agents that can help facilitate this by knocking those bound-up ions from the medium, making it available again for uptake,...
yeah, week "10"

... for most autos, finishing in 8-10 weeks, it's a little more tricky to get the finishing timing right,.. I absolutely hawk the trichomes daily the last 10 days, to see how fast the ripening goes,.. which can vary strain to strain, plant to plant even under the right conditions,... sometimes the lowers don't finish at the same time as uppers, so staged harvesting is not uncommon,.. if you have lowers that look well behind the tops, then consider doing this,..let them cook a few to several days more, just water if needed...
