Nothing! Ran out
Problem: brown almost transparent holes forming quickly on lower fan leaf. Also very wilted leaf at very bottom of plant.

Medium/grow method: jiffy pellet, transplanted to Biobizz light mix in 10l fabric pots

Feed: and supplements used: Biobizz fishmix, bloom and top max

water source: Spanish tap water, pH slightly above 8

Strain/age: Dinafem Haze 2.0 auto, about 5-6 weeks but cannot say for certain.

light used: Spanish sun

Climate: southern Spain (Costa Blanca), living half way up a mountain

Additional info: these seemed to have appeared out of no where. I know water pH is high. But I read that it shouldn't be a problem as Biobizz soil buffers the pH. I leave the water 24 hours or longer where possible with lid off. See pics below.

The last picture could be insect damage,so look real close for insects that might have invaded.

I've had a good look today and I cannot see anything dangerous on the plant. Also strange how it's just effected one leaf and no signs of it on others! I'll keep a close eye on it. But if anyone has any other ideas please shoot them my way

Growing outside you will run into a few bug problems but they usually don't cause any real damage. As far as a few very bottom leaves turning yellow this is normal so unless it starts getting worse i wouldn't worry to much.

Just done run off test, raised two planters off the floor, put a pan underneath. Slowly added water straight in the middle of the plant so it had to soak through and not run down the sides. Collected first few drops and tested. You can see the tap water is smurf colour before putting it into the soil, and after is sitting at yellow. So according to the colour chart somewhere around 6 to 6.5? Does this sound relatively good for my particular test?

I will get the accurate 8 when I can, still not opened a Spanish bank account! One thing at a time it's the laid back lifestyle around here rubbing off on me

The second picture (on my knee) is the effected haze 2.0. other is healthy critical 2.0 and blue is water used for test

:toke:...symptom look like P defc., with the larger necrotic patches,... I'm betting it's pH related too, with those reading,.. It's odd though, your water is obviously hard as hell with that pH, meaning it's full of minerals, mainly CaCO3... this helps with low pH because it's this mineral that involved in pH buffering... Your nutes are usually acidic, and can help with the buffering as well, but it's not always going to work out that way,... Also, testing straight run-off isn't going to give an accurate reading of actual in-pot pH,.... there's a somewhat better method for run-off testing, located in the section above this one; have a look and you'll see what I mean,.. even then, with true soil, the run-off method is still sub-par,... the A8 unit will be far better, when you can get it!
So, maybe do the improved method and calculation, which will offer a better read of pH,.. we need to figure out if this is bad enough to cause P lockout, which happen when pH goes too low,.. adding more food will make matter worse, not better,... Lastly, Biobizz is very mild stuff, usually folks have simple lack-of issues with it, not pH lockout, so this is is play as a possibility as well, along with the off pH,... those dropper testes are pretty crude as well, BTW..... work with what you have, but it's got severe limitations,... get your account set up mate, and start buying the right gear for growing,.. prevention is way easier than cure, and the ruight tools help do this, allowing you to get on things before they become severe,...:greenthumb:

Thanks for your input @Waira I appreciate it! I did read the altered method but didn't quite understand stand, what is leachate? I fed the plants last night a decent dose recommended for 7 week old plants, as the last time I did straight water no nutes. If problems get worse now then I should know it's lockout rather than deficiency hopefully. But as you say, as soon as I can get the accurate 8 it should clear everything up. The other plants seem to be super happy as far as a newbie can tell though. So will just keep an eye on it for the mean time.

But thanks again for taking the time to reply!
