Hey guys well I had a northern lights blue and when it sprouted it still had the seed attacheds u can see in the picture below.

Now I know it looks like it was about to fall off so later on I took some tweezers and just lifted the shell off. It basically just fell off when I grabbed it I didn't really pull at all..but this morning I woke up to it sadly looking like this..

If u look really close u can see a small hole where the there is a white spot on the leaf.

It was growing everyday so I thought I was helping it by letting it open..I'm not sure if I saved it or just killed it. I have other beans so if u think this one can't recover please let me kno so I'm not just wasting space but I really wanted to try this strain so let me know what u guys think:toke:

Here's a pic of my Russian Rocket Fuel which is the same age so u can compare.

As u can see it ain't looking good please help, thanks for reading :peace:

This has happened a couple of times to my friend. It should be okay

I too had this problem a couple times. As long as there is no damage to the growth in the middle and it roots good. Cheers:dance:

it will grow............how well, time will tell..

This is just the beginning, dude! Your baby will grow and grow! Don't fret or sweat this early! :D

It'll grow just fine - but be careful going forward. We were all there at one point, so impatient and wanting to do everything right with our first grow. Remember man, more isn't always better.. more touching, more prodding, more water, more "helping", more nutrients.. these things aren't always better. Also remember it's better to "ask then do" than "do then ask" when you're new to growing. I believe it'll bounce back just fine and be stunted for maybe 2-3 days off the other one but that's just from my experience in shocking or disturbing seedlings. Like goauto said, only time can tell how much of an impact a certain stressing event has on a plant. Do any of us think it's worth ripping out of the bucket and throwing away? Hell no.

This isn't my first grow or anything and I agree less is more when it cones to growing I know not to do to much man I just never have had this problem..

My concern was..here's a pic of my almost 4 week old pk..

When it sprouted the leaves opened as they should but the seed stayed attached to one side..4 weeks layer its still here

Since this one never came off I figured that one would stay trapped until it died. It grew taller and I watched closely but the seed didn't look like it was going to come apart so I just thought it was necessary to give it a little help :D

I guess we can all see what will happen and learn from it
