Im totally new. but i believe i built an awesome grow box and i cant get past them sprouting.last time out of 10 got 1 plant and heat issue killed it.this time i germinated 4 quality seeds in papertowl all sprouted. this time i trying 1.5x1.5" rockwool to start then going to soil. soaked cubes in 5.5-6.0phd water planted got 2 stringy stemmed 1 good one and 1 that is super tiny and stays that way after 4 days of sprouting. last time i planted germ seeds in soil none popped.had them in humidity dome dark spot.planted 3 seed to soil all 3 sprouted 2 died off quickley after.starting them in a pc cfl stealth box on 18/6.have more seeds but not doing shit till i get some advice.

in the pc box where i put them after sprouting its 80 in there with computer fan intake blowing on plants at bottom pc exhaust,i started them in rockwool this time seemed like id have more sucess as long as could just plant cube into soil.seen where people said it not prob.that was next ? need help with what soil to buy. i bought tiger farm nutes but dont know what i should use.there are no specialty grow stores where i live its all walmart lowes etc. unless i order off net advice?

Plant seed in soil watch it grow. Keep it simple. Your over engineering nature. Dump the rockwool too. If growing in soil or coco plant direct in soil or coco. If your new and MUST use plugs use riot cubes, rapid rooters etc. Something with rooting hormones and oomph to get it going. Rockwool is notorious for being hard to work with if your new.

Ive never had a seedling die on me what company are you using?

Hey man, I am new to growing to but have had good results so far with canna terra. You will have to get it from ebay or a hydro store. All i mix in it is perlite about 15% i guess. Plant it straight into the soil, which i water in fully, 3 days before planting the seeds. Then a little water to settle the soil around the little hole you made, cover it to keep it humid till germination. Then till its about 5-6 days old the only liquid it gets is a water and rhizo mixture (1.5mls per litre) with a spray bottle. PH this, it reads ridiculously high and can only be used for two days max, then you need a new mix. **i also use rhizo in the watering in of the pot before the seed is planted**, same strength. Dont water it with any more than a surface wetting in this time with the spray bottle, the pot contains enough water to last at least the first 5-6 days, 24 litre pots i use , but the temp during the day where i live is 30*C and gets down to 22*C at night, so it does dry out quickly here, you could leave it longer in cooler climates. The soil will look dry but, if you put your finger in and can feel ANY moisture in the soil up to at least 15cm down leave it another day. It sounds sadistic but it works a dream. Also ph everything that goes in, if you use canna terra, to 5.8 in veg, including seedling stage and the pre water of the pot. Hope this helps, it works for me anyway, have a good one

all the plants in my first order came from supreme seed and out of 10 1 survived but died later due to heat.this time i ordered from the TSSC. what soil should i plant seeds in and what soil do i transplant too? what light should i have them under 250 mh or in my pc cfl grow box?im so sorry but i jus want to get it right

A couple questions. First, what kind of soil are you using? The ones that sprouted and then died, did the stems turn brown near the base and get very thin?

I agree on the rock wool, not necessary unless you're growing in hydro. I normally just soak my seeds in water until they crack and the root start to show. Then I place them right into the soil, 1/2" deep. 90% + germination every time.

I've always been curious how people can grow cannabis inside a pc tower. What kind of yield could one possibly get in such a small area? Like an 1/8, maybe. Doesn't seem worth it to me. I'd be more inclined to just grow outdoors.

i used the peat pots from lowes. no they were green one was super tiny tho.leaves started turning yellow then crumbled but i had a heat issue. we used shultz potting mix. i need help with a good soil.

I'm no fan of peat pots. Does that potting soil contain slow release nutrients?
