Cannabis Seeds
Hey buddy, i would suggest giving her some cal/mg, I don't know why but led seems to make them cal/mg deficient a lot. Get a second opinion but as I only grow outdoors and am not the sharpest tool in the shed...also a pic in white light will help everyone to see what's happening better

Im having the same exact issue as you. I checked my run off on the next water and found it a little low thinking I may have locked out cal mag? I gave them a dose of CAL MAG again with water and corrected ph best I could. Not sure how much cal mag is too much either.

My girl is not doing well. Here are her details. Auto feminized american pie. 2 weeks old, average temp/humidity is 82°/61, light is 600 watt LED approx 36 inches away, soil is natures living and roots organic potting, there are a few fungus gnats but no larvae, not over/under watered, PH is 7 but have read I'm not supposed to mess with it with living soil, currently using neem oil, have plenty of air flow. Anything I'm missing please ask... I just want my baby well!! Thank you!!!

I am no expert..but, I really want to say nutrient toxicity ...I could be wayyyy off. The only reason I say this, is that the soil should be packed with nutes, and being such a young plant, why would it need that much Calmag so early,? @Waira is the Guru to ask.

:toke: .... Hmmm, this I've seen before, but never figured out exactly what it is,... the patches go necrotic, but stay greenish, dry out quickly too,... it's not a defc. I don't think, wrong symptoms...P would be the closest, but that's seemingly unlikely in a "complete" water only type soil (assuming it is?),... and assuming it's cooked enough,... richness can be an issue early on, often folks make a small core pocket of milder soil mix (like seedling mix plus the reg. soil) to start in,... Some of the other symptoms do look "hot soil" related,... new growth looks solid, and that's good news!
So water pH,.....high, bad in fact at 9.0! With very hard water, over time cumulative CaCO3 from it can start driving pH up, but you're no where near that either way this early,... other TLO/"super" soil co's suggest pH'ing water to 6.5-ish, using citric acid (gentle stuff vs. reg. pH down),.... And lastly, soil pH is always in play! ...get an soil pH probe to take measurements directly in-pot, only was in fact with these soils, never flush or try to get run-off to test,.. that's inaccurate anyway,... the Accurate 8 is a good one, or the more spendy bulb electrode types ( same as a pH meter, but made for soil testing; do NOT use a pH meter for liquids only to test actual soil, just a heads up).... So, other things may be in play with that water, depending on what it was tested for,... I recommend getting different water, that hardness is going to be a problem...

OK, that's too high, and several nutes start to lock out around here,....

... typically it's the micronutes that suffer first, off pH changes the chemistry and renders them unavailable for uptake,... fortunately I don't see signs of this yet,.. but get some drinking water (bottled, self-fill), or distilled and start using that, with pH'ing down to low 6's,.. citric acid you can get at the stores, canning goods section will have it,....
You can blend the waters, get to about 150ppm base and that's fine,... I know it's a PITA and $$, but you are stuck until you get the RO system running-

Dang, that sux. You’ve got the best Dr. in the hospital on the case, in Waira. ‘He da man!’ I have pretty crappy well water but mine’s only moderately hard. I’ve been really looking at RO filters and wanted to share that I found a company called Hydro-Logic that makes some pretty affordable units called their “Stealth” line. I’m about to pull the trigger on their 300 gallon per day filter but they have a 150 dallin per day unit that’s more than enough for most indoor gardens. I have a pretty large outdoor garden in summer and need loads of water or I’d be going with the smaller unit that’s about as affordable as I’ve found from at HydroBuilder.com

I love most things about being in the country but well water quality is NOT one of them!

I wanted to second Waira’s suggestion about starting seedlings in a zero (or near zero) nutrient soil. I’m trying to do the living soil thing and water-only (I’ve failed at that so far, lol) thing and it’s a double edged sword. On the one hand, your soil needs to be pretty nutrient packed for the grow to complete. On the other hand, cannabis doesn’t need ANY supplemental nutrition for the first couple of weeks. So, these soils are not optimal for babies. What I’ve been doing is filling my bags/pots with my living super soil with an empty solo cup or 32oz styrofoam soda cup at the top, in the center. Once the soil’s in place and watered in well, twist the cup ‘round a time or two and pull it up and out - it’ll leave you a perfect mold to add seedling soil. Fill that hole with something inert or very low in nutes. I use a Pro-Mix and perlite at 50/50 ratio or Coco Coir and perlite at 60/40. Put you seedling in there and it’ll work it’s way to the nutrient rich soil as it reaches an age when it can better handle the nutrition.

I’m a relative newbie but I hope this helps. Best of luck with your grow! Hope it works out for ya.

Just chiming in, I had the idea of cutting FFOF with coco as well as starting my seeds directly in a cup size cut out of coco in my pots (still have the issue he is having- I wound up bumping up my feed water PH to 7.25 this afternoon as I believe it is a soil ph issue locking something out. My initial attempt was just a water feed on the two worst looking plants with 7 ph water and it 100% corrected one plant and seemed to not help the other somehow. The other possibility is that they are growing out of whatever problem spot the roots were in.

Im running hot as well 82-86 with 55-75% humidity. Ive heard quite a few times that led grows need hotter average temps to make up for the leaf temperature difference between hps and led. So I assume anything under 90 is still ok if you run led and add co2.

Should look similar to tour issue? Day 12 or 13 from seed so doing really really good if it has some sort of lockout going on.
