I've used h2o2 in DWC with great success, I like it better than Hygrozyme. Beautiful white roots, lush green growth.

In regard to the poll question, I generally do straight watering in between feedings anyway...

But when using non-organic nutrients, especially after a long veg, I will remove the top 2" of soil and add in fresh soil. I then do the same (but not add back any soil) just before flushing the roots for harvest. It is typically there that the toxic salt build up occurs, and I figure why leech that through the root zone?

I make the switch directly from veg to bloom nutes without any plain water feeds in between. I grow in Pro Mix, which is semi soil less and only contains starter nutes, which are well exhausted by then. So unless I feed, there is no nutrition in the soil to support the plants. When I feed I also give enough to get 10+% run off and have never had problems with salt buildup. I always check my pots after the grow is finished and find very little salt buildup on the inside of the pots.

thanks for the poll participation and replies everyone.

the responses/poll should help ease some minds or clear out any questions regarding feed between veg to flower.

i know there are more users out there so chime in ladies! lol.

im currently using FFOF/HF (which should gives me nutrients for about 2-4 weeks) and i water until runoff all the time as well.

would it be safe to say that salt build up shouldnt be a problem as well without a transition feed in between?

i did a transition feed this grow from veg to flower -- i will skip the transition feed grow next round.

i will try to take notes/photo regarding the salt build up.

Coco + RO + Lucas (6ml micro/9ml bloom/1gram epsom per gallon). I run that straight through until the plant reaches its final height. From there, I back the micro out slowly, usually I'm on pure bloom-only for the 2 weeks prior to the 5 day water-only cleanse. After the water cleanse, I leave them alone and let them dry out until they start looking crispy, then chop and dry.

I change from Veg to Flower in around 3 feeds i lower the amount of Grow and increase Bloom so it would be like this 8ml grow 0ml bloom(before change) then 6ml grow 3ml bloom then 4ml grow 6ml bloom then 2ml 6-7ml bloom untill i decide to up my bloom. i also keeep a small amount of grow rite through till last few days before harvest:smokebuds:

I feed nutes and boosters together, then Sensizym & Bud Candy full strength, then feed again. I do this the whole way. Salts get flushed out in the final flush... but I voted for personal preference myself... Everyone's set up and nutes are different so to me there is no one "right" way. It's all good! :smoke: I will have to also agree with not having to flush with organics... when I ran organics I didn't have to flush at all...

:smokebuds: :thread:

I usually have PH issues at the beginning of the changeover. As a consequence, I have to use plain water to adjust PH as best I can.

All the above commenters certainly know their craft. Good thread.
