Live Stoner Chat Portable Vapes

I get plumes with my arizer solo blue, usually followed by a good cough lol iv found the lower temps give lighter vape and lasts longer, but crank it up and the vapes thicken but it goes quicker :smokebuds: its mentioned that it is a tight draw on the solo, which it is,but I just raise the tube by a tiny bit on the inhale and it just flies through and no more tight draw.

Thanks McBud :)

I've been smoking joints for twenty years plus, I used a vape which i think was pretty low spec about a decade ago - it looked like a lava lamp with a metal plate in the middle and a tube coming out. I wasn't impressed as it was just airy and a bit fragrant.

I am looking for a plume to come out when i breath, and not with concentrates or bho - just herbs - do you guys think this is achievable with a portable vape?
That's kind of why i was liking the look of the Atmos pen, after reading a review on it not being a "true vape" because of combustion

The best portable I've had is the Arize Solo which gave good thick plooms although the draw isn't that clear so you have to suck for a long time,I sold mine and got a Life Saber for in the kitchen and garden it has a wire so its not portable but its the absolute shiznits the same as my Da Buddah they both give amazing plooms that feel thick as smoke and the taste is heavenly. All joints taste the same to me now and I smoke pure but its not that often. Then there's the health side....my lung capacity feels like its double in the last year since I started vaping.

Cheers Red

That sounds like my kind of smoke - the cough is a bonus ^_^ lol
I was just checking out Arizer solos on Amazon - About 145. I really should try and make an investment to maintain my health a little!

Edit: Thanks for the other options TaNg - looks like i've got some homework to do -- but good news is that plumes are achievable with vapes. I'd feel robbed without one!

I wonder what the interest is on this forum on the Ascent? I would be very interested in doing side by side reviews and to also give first impressions on a portable vape. I have a volcano and its great! Though you can not leave the house with it.
I would think with all the health interest on this forum some vapor reviews from actual users on the forum would be helpful. As I am sure the reviews and opinions with be less bias than these reviews you see on the vape sites. Reading the reviews over there, all the vapes are rated great!
I just grabbed some new e-juice and cartomizers for my Apolo V-tube (a variable voltage cig vape, produces plumes of smoke an is satisfying enough that I smoke a HELLUVA lot less cigs when using it... That's what got
Me on the portable band wagon here...
I want to save my lungs!

Though ultimately nothing I love more than a blunt ;) hopefully my da vinci will make me smoke less of the blunts.

Stay tuned for full review.

Blue,if you are a seasoned joint smoker, the mflb may come in a little puny hit wise.
i have tried it and im personally glad i didnt buy it,having said that, the warranty is stoner proof.a user had one swopped out after his dog chewed it,they will even replaced if broken in modifying for performance and artistic beauty!...just no malicious damage
but in saying that,im not happy with my EQ hits either, maybe im too used to the eciggy type vapes and the plumes of vapor they produce.
rereading this slightly more medicated...just imagine what magic lever could work on some custom stems,oh the possibilities

Man that's a sweet idea,I'd defo purchase one :smokebuds:

For those with concerns about the mflb. In use it without the stem, I grind the night before I intend to use it- and then I grind that stash again in the morning and put it in the dugout and in the box. Because there is no thermostat you can induce combustion with the mflb as well. I get ploooooms of delicious vapor with it. Now- I've never had a real bell ringer out of any vape- vaporizers just won't do that- you have to smoke to get that hammer to the head hit. The only thing about the launch box is that it does have a learning curve. And you will need extra batteries. Take a couple massive rips- the bud starts tasting like popcorn- and she's done. And so are you- or you need to grow a better strain. The only other portable vaporizers I have used have been butane powers. And I did not like them. One was the iolite am the other was a I dunno- but it only worked with oil- which is a turnoff

In alot of ways this is just an iPhone vs Samsung discussion. They both work great, both camps will argue there's performs better- but alot of it is just what you use most, meaning get the most practice with- and hence te best results. I will keep both my iPhone and my mflb. Oh- and my one hitter. And my chillum. And my papers and my two little glass throwaways and my big nice Sherlock. And my bong. And....

No matter what people here sais i bet you havnt reserched about ascent davinci that mush. Its like a stationary vape in quality buth portable and all glass pipies so cleanest clouds you can get from a portable vape. Omg im so horny to get me one!!!
Freaking delays due improvements only to push the compedeting companys face in the gravel hehe

Don't use one then. And you probably can disregard my experience with the launch box too!

Hope the da Vinci ever comes out.
