Lighting Possible to use LED and HPS together?

wassup guys,

got a question, is it possible to use a 600W HPS in combination with an LED Panel (not sure about the size, gonna edit)?
id like to add some more light and and differnt frequencys to raise the quality of my crop ^^

I don't see why it wouldn't be possible. Biggest challenge depending on the space is likely where to put the lights to get max effectiveness. I know I've seen a few brands that make "bloom booster" LED lamps where they load them up with just the red spectrum lights that may be worth a look. Unfortunately, the only ones off the top of my head I remember seeing were either from high end, expensive brands or from cheapo mass produced brands with not a lot of "middle of the road" options. Can use full use spectrum lamps, of course, but if you could target the bloom spectrum's I would think it would give more bang for the buck on a supplemental lamp.

Yo, I just added some CFLs to my LED because the lower leaves weren't getting much light. So far it seems to have inspired the lower section to perk up and produce some tasty looking pistils, so I'd say there is no harm in trying it for yourself. Good luck, man.

nothing wrong with adding more light..the led can be positioned vertically to give the lower parts more chance to develop

I use 2 LED pannals and 1 600 HPS. This combo grows nice Autoflowers...

I just got a Floralux 150 for my lower canopy im gonna sit it in a corner in the bottom of my tent........it has a glass plate to keep heat from reaching the plants and it doesnt throw much heat anyhow.......
I hooked it up last night just to be sure it worked and everything bc i just recieved it yesterday......
I also have an Advanced Platinum P300 LED Panel overtop of my plants.......just wanted to have a little supplemental light as well......i also have a Mars Hydro Reflector series LED Panel for additional undercanopy light.....ill only be growing 2 to 3 plants at most in their ever so and theyre all about 3 or 4 weeks apart......
So i just rotate my pots and hopefully this thing helps in yield or quality one..........

Here is my new Hybrid lighting setup. im using PVC pipe to move and angle my lamps. the grow cadge is 6 foot tall x 10 foot long x 6 feet wide.. i will also be using the 900 LED for 4feet and lower lighting.
i will use 10 5 gallon air pots!!! lets see how she grows!!!

I have a few Mephisto Genetics left to finish. Also I have to build the PCV stand for the 900 as side lighting..

thanks @MediJane just the lamp rig was only about $25 its a 10x10 foot room So I have 100 square feet ..
