I have four 5 ga. pots of autos (all different strains with similar timelines) I planted as sprouts. They're under an LED array about 44" away. Two are now above the coco. Both have very light green leaves, and one hasn't really grown noticeably since being above surface 24 hours and I feel like it should have progressed more by now. The second just pierced the surface overnight. I planted them two nights ago in well-rinsed coco (30 ppm) conditioned with 1/16 dose FloraSeries and full dose CalMag. I then watered lightly the morning after for some ridiculous reason, which is probably the mistake.

Is this a nitrogen deficiency from overwatering? Should I drop humidity in the tent in an attempt to dry up the coco so I can add a little more nitrogen, or just drop the humidity and wait a few days?

OR should I simply start over? It'd only cost me a couple days, which is better than wasting 80 days on a very weak harvest.

That looks totally normal to me? What kind of LED - brand model etc.. Most likely you can move that down to 24". but post the details first.

It's a VIPARSPECTRA 600w, veg lights-only on. It's entirely possible I'm overreacting--this is my first grow. I'm used to growing fungi. :P The plan is to leave the light high for the first week or so and gradually move it down over time to ~18", that is if they aren't stunted.

I see your new to AFN welcome!

Seedlings need high humidity 60% - 70% around 78°F to be happy. Be sure to have a air fan circulating the air in the tent it makes the stem strong to wiggle the plant with air - gently.

Ok so that is about 275 watts at the wall. You can move that light down to 24" and run 18/6. Your sprout looks good. Start a thread in the New Growers Jounals section tag me and I will follow your progress and offer suggestions as needed.

Will do! Thanks @Mañ'O'Green :p Do you mean tag you with each new journal entry? Don't want to annoy you too much. :p

Edit: Sounds like VIPARSPECTRA's distance recommendations are ultra conservative. I'll move the light to 24".

No just tag me once when you start your journal in the new grower's forum. I will sub in and watch the thread. It is best to post your first grow there as you will get a lot of help and ideas from the many outstanding growers in this forum.

Idk but she doesn't need any nutes right now anyway. Let her dry out if you watered a lot and then water pH correctly and then water again til she has first set of true leaves mean 3-5 finger leaves
