Ok so this is my fourth grow, but first using organic soil and BioTabs. Previous grows were in coco with 5 gallon fabric pots and I grew large autos. 2 plants would fill the 2x4 tent. My germination rates have been dismal until this grow!

So my problem/question is I have a 2x4 tent and all 6 seeds successfully germinated. Seeds are 8 week FastBud strains so will tend to be smaller I think.

1. Can I fit all 6 in a 2x4 tent using 5 gallon fabric pots in organic soil using BioTabs?

2. I could do mix of 3 5-gallon and 3 3-gallon.

3. Or all 3-gallon pots.

Leaning towards 5 gallon pots and seeing what happens, but welcome feedback from experienced organic soil growers.

Thanks in advance.

I'd say go for the 5gal pots! If you have a 2 by 4 tray, it would be great. Individual saucers for the pots may be a problem fitting them front to back, but you may be able to stagger them with more side to side room. Take your saucers and lay them out to see

State what strain is and maybe someone here has grown it to give you some input.
@St. Tom Can give you input on bio tabs and what to expect with the pot sizes.

I think I would top them all also!!

I think you could do 5 gals. It'll be tight and you'll have to stay on top of defoliation.

I dont grow many autos but I've done 4-5gallons in my 3x3 my tent was stuffed from corner to corner, but they were photos with a 4 week veg. So I assume that 6 autos in 5 gallons will REALLY fill that space. So as long as you defoliate and prune to keep the airflow moving later on you should be fine.

Have grown a lot of autos in a 2x4 with organic soil (thought not FB strains) and it'll likely be a struggle to get more than ~3 healthy ones cleanly to harvest with 5 gallons each, they'll likely be too big unless you don't mind being handsy ✂️. A lot depends on your lighting/schedule, and peak RH/Temp/airflow struggles...and be prepared to prune, schwazz, train and supercrop as needed:

Think about how much you need every 80-100 days...you should be able to get a QP+ per plant growing in soil that way; and there are a lot of folks with grow threads on here specifically using BTs in recent years that you can search for and reference since that's your plan .

@Mossy Appreciate your experience and your pictures look amazing! My plan initally was to start 6 seeds/3 strains and "hope" I could get one of each strain to germinate. Again my germination rate has been so horrible in the past, shocked and suprised when all 6 sprouted, I am like a kid in a candy shop...wanting it all!!!!

Since this is my first time in soil I am not sure what to expect from 5-gallon plants. One seedling looks a little "weird" and will be a likely candidate to not make the transition to final pots. Thinking now, I will just need to make a decision on removing one more seedling and trying 4 plants. The remaining plants all look robust and I have a few days before transplanting into final pots to make a decision on who to keep.

Cheers @NamasteDaze :headbang: ...5 gallon is 20 LTRs and I work on 1 adult plant per 2 ltrs of soil.....so I'd be happy to put all 6 in the 1 x 5 gall pot.

My big pots are 3ft x 15 inches...so not far off your room size....

But I don't have to worry about walls if they do want to spread out a bit.

Adequate ventilation and a big saucer would be on my tick list.....:headbang:.....

Any chance your compo is a bit Hot....?.....

Had a similar thought as all 6 seedlings were prepped and treated in the same manner. Will need to be more mindful when setting up the seedling soil for next session.

Thanks for the feedback those are monster plants :)
