I think it has to be hard wood like oak or mahogany but I don't know.but 5-1-1 aint gonna do it for flowering.also I think ash raises the ph of ur soil.u need to find a fert that is like 1-3-4 or something like that

Yea i agree im using The fish fert for The nitro i use 1/4 the normal dose my plants love it.
 
Just be slightly weary if your gonna use fish ferts till harvest since if used heavy they could lead to a small taste difference.even cured product could be slightly off.Just try n be sure to flush an extra week with some cal mag for the first of a three weeks er so flush.imo you'll be better off if yer gonna use it to the end.glad its all working out for ya."AFN smoke out" I used just plain hardwood wood ash in my grow last time and seemed to work for the few weeks I used it.And sure you could use it in a Tea.More of a Tea than a Living Tea imo but certainly can,I did a few times.Dunno where ya get it from though,we burn a pellet stove for the winter so really easy to come by most times fer me.:pass:

I am Going to cut out the fish fert once i pick up some kelp
