Hey guys

recently chopped a Blackberry plant only to find spots of PM on it so i has to throw the lot.

I still have two plants to come down and have notices small PM patches on the lower leaves, they are both at week 11 and would say they would be ready to harvest in 2-3 weeks.

Does anyone know how to get rid of it so late into flowering?

Im from the UK so greencure isnt easy to find.

Cut the leaves off. Try to get better circulation around the affected area.

thats for the reply mate.
the white spots are mildew on the fan leaves right?

ive got 2 oscillating fans coming to replace my static ones as well as an exhaust fan on full power so hopefully its alot better air circ.

the blackberry was kept low to the floor and the tent was crowded so i know why the mildew came about.

is it as easy as pruning the fan leaves? what if theres spots on the bud sugar leaves?

cheers

Temps and rH? See your adding circulation +1...if your canopy is dense enough to really need the circulation then a small fan under the canopy will help as well.

Do you use a VPD chart? Curious where your [HASHTAG]#s[/HASHTAG] would land.

Looks like it, she could use a defoliation anyway. Once you remove the offending leaves the air flow will be greatly improved.

my temp gauge was under the canopy which was showing 20-23c lights on with a thermostat for underfloor heatmat set to 20c for lights off as it was outside shed. humidity was around 50-65%. knowing how my set up was i know where i went wrong. overcrowding the tent and the fans being in a set location and not really circulating the air effectively (the blackberry was a short plant under the canopy so there was probably a humidity spike in that area)just gotta live and learn but really dont wanna lose my other two plants. will have it dialled in next time

so just cut affected fan leaves, defloliate and see what happens??

Yes that's what I would do, don't defoliate completely but a good thinning out will help.
