Shane From MIGROW does amazing work with testing and reviewing lights. I pulled all this information from his youtube channel and compiled it into a easy to view list to help you choose your next light. I plan on updating this list with current pricing of each light and overall wattage to help you further determine how you want to budget your grow. So here is the Current list from highest PPFD to lowest.

My wills is probably only 1 to 1.2 like you said. Definitely will go off of this before my next purchase. Thanks so much for taking the time and sharing this.
 
I think spider farmer will fill my next 4x4 spot instead of the mars hydro. Spider farmer for the win for me with my budget. Thanks again! 10 points rep given for your post.

Would a hps be roughly the same as the mh bulb?

Yea I like the SF at that current price point. I got mine on a black Friday deal and I'm happy with it so far. I've noticed (here in Canada) the prices have really been fluctuating, sometimes it's not a great deal. I tried to price everything in American $$ just for simplicity for everyone. I found quite a few surprises along the way, I think some companies are far better at marketing then actually making lights.

If you look toward the bottom of the list they are actually on there. MH is 0.93 and HPS at 1.3 PPFD.

Yeah they will all grow weed but I do understand some are better than others. Some are overpriced though. For a budget grower like me not looking to spend over a grand on a grow light. And the cost of a spider farmer 4000 got me thinking itd be cheaper to buy 4 auto cobs and be cheaper to run too... hmmm the choices. Lol I got time to think about it still. I've grown with the old school 1000 watt magnetic ballast grow lights. Lights have sure come a long way since then.
 
$469.99 for 4 pack of cobs at cobshop.net or $589.99 for the sf 4000 at amazon or there website. Sf 4000 pulls 456.9 watts and auto cobs only pull 240 watts. I'm kinda leaning towards autocobs now but I don't know. $120 cheaper and cheaper to run electric wise and I seen them perform on here pretty well. Well see but I definitely need more light in the near future so thanks for your input and help.
