Hey guys :)

I have decided to make a small 1 plant hydro (DWC) grow parallel to my bigger indoor soil grow :D

Here is short review of things I want to use for growing 1 Cream Caramel:

1 x 5 gallon buckert
1 x 6'' net pot
1 x 1.4'' rock wool medium
1 x 2.9'' rock wool medium (should I use this one too or is the small one OK?)
Clay pebbles
1 x water pump/bubbler with air stone (any preferred size of the stone?)
around 100w of light - I would use many low wattage ones from my local store. I have to see what kind of spectrum of light they have so I can make a mix for better results. If possible I would put some blue and then more of the red spectrum for flowering since it's auto we are talking about.
1 x EC meter
Could I use PH test stripes for my first grow? I got many of these at home and EC + PH electronic meters aren't that cheap. Well you probably can get some really cheap ones but you get what you pay for.
2 smaller fans
growing area would be approx. 2w x 2l x 2.4 feet height with reflective coating on the inside. The box might be made from styrofoam or cardboard.

Nutes:
1 x BioBizz Bio- Bloom
1 x BioBizz Bio - Grow

Should probably also throw PH up/down in the mix (probably a must)

I will probably use boiled tap water.

Hope I didn't forget on something, waiting for your opinions :D:bow:

Hi R1zla, and welcome to AFN :) everyone here is helpful and eager to help, but i think you might get more views/answers if you try the new growers forum. it should catch the knowledgeable guys and gals on here attention a bit more.
test strips have always given me grief trying to figure out what color it really was after having the grow lights poking me in the eyes for an hour.. lol but i guess there needs to be a start right?
now i cannot claim to be an expert because i only ever grew photo's, and am building my first DWC auto grow myself.. but it seems to be that too many moves is not very good for the auto ladies, so maybe just pick one of the sizes of rockwool, then just pop that into the pebbles when your ready. but please ask around before taking my advise.. i wouldnt want to hurt your ladies :) good luck and i'll try to keep up with your progress. peace :smokebuds:
