Hi All,

First of all I would like to thank everyone here for all the info that's available on this site. I learnt alot from you posts.
So this is my first try in growing and I started with an AutoDuck from DP.
All of a sudden the fan leaves started getting yellow. Plant is in week 12. Also been flowering for around 4 weeks now but no sign of the buds swelling. What are your views?

It looks like a magnesium def to me. There is a sticky at the beginning of this section with pics also at groweasy.com when I see that I powder some epson salts and add a1/4 teaspoon per gallon then I keep using till flush. I haven't grown a duck yet how fun. Good luck

Thanks wiltstone. Will go and buy some epsom salts. Do you think I should leave her for much more too? DP site says it takes 11-12 weeks.

I always feel that before adding stuff (in this case epsom salt), you should check your ph and try to adjust to the proper range if necessary.

I agree there's a magnesium deficiency. You should be able to easily fix this by watering your plant with normal nutrients that include magnesium.

In soil: make sure the Ph level of the water is at minimum of 6.6 and max of 6.8. This is very important.
Water until flush like you normally would. I recommend giving ph 6.5-6.8 for a few waterings. If no more new yellowing shows up, it's fixed.
To prevent further nutrient deficiencies, vary the Ph of your water between 6.1 and 6.8.
I cycle like this, during veg
Day 1 water at 6.1 ph
next water at 6.5 ph
next water at 6.8 ph
next water at 6.5 ph
next water at 6.1 ph

During flowering I stick to 6.5 as max and 5.8 as minimum.

The yellowing on the leaves that's there won't disappear. Just keep.lookingbfor new spots. If they stay away, you're in the clear.

Keep up the spirit!

Thanks Scirzo. What do you think about the age? Should I keep on givining her nutes or should I start flushing since its now within her harvest period according to DP but the buds are still very small?

Upon closer inspection of your close-up...are you sure she's a she....? I can't really make it out from your pictures, but if this is 12 weeks and with those kind of small scattered flowers...we're those flowers like little balls, before they opened? Can you post a better close-up?

I think she's a female. I did not see the pollen sacks. Hope these pictures are better

What's your setup like? Tent lights nutes etc? Kinda reminds me of my first grow...all small fluff. Mine was due to a serious underlighting issue.

Tent: 60x60x140
Light: 1 COB Cree CXB3070 @ 55W (Got it from EU not sure if I can mentioned from where)
Nutes attached pictures of them but are normal nutes bought from local store.

A friend of mine has started same as me but outdoor in full sunshine and has same issues with small buds. (He's not seeing the magnesium deficiancy)Where I live we have plenty of sunshine.
