Grow Mediums PSC Grows 3x Mephisto Sour Stomper

Beautiful poly.....great job. Question tho..how do u get such an even canopy???

Thanks! The first step is to choose strains that are similar heights to grow together. Then I like to start training the main stem to be more diagonal starting around the 2nd-3rd week, and from then on I bend down stems that get too tall, trying to widen the plant and give each cola some space. Especially try to bend down the main stem since the plant tends to put more energy there. Depending on genetics, some plants may be very dominant in the main stem like a Fantasmo Express I am currently growing. The nice thing is that once you've LSTed a bit, the plant will put its energy into the colas more evenly, so it will continue to grow more evenly.

Could not have put it any better myself.:smoking:

Polly i actually only grow several of the same strain at a time to avoid height and nute differences....minus the pheno affect. We do what we can but that canopy you have going there is a thing of beauty. I will order some bendz and go at it.

Ah that will make things easier, it definitely helped in this grow. Also, choosing a lankier larger strain makes the LST easier as well. I have a hubbabubbasmelloscope at the moment that's a great LST plant.

Also I forgot to mention I just use garden ties to bend down the stems. I think the bendz are good for supercropping but I haven't had to do that yet.

Day 42:

They seem to have finished the flowering stretch at this point, now for the bud fattening :headbang: Quite a bit of frost already.

I stopped adding calmag, using just 6ml micro 9ml bloom per gallon. This was giving some burnt tips at 700ppm so I filled about 4gal of 400ppm. Overall things are looking pretty good to me!

Those look nice PSC, gonna be nice hard nugs by the looks of them flowers. Really pretty plants you got there, I need to pop one of them SS soon.:pass:

Day 46:

The tips still seem to be burning on ~550ppm so I lowered it more down to 400 or so. I also did a bit of lollipopping, mostly cleaning up the spotty leaves and the small colas that will not make it to the canopy.

There is already some decent frost building! The smell is coming out- already sour and grapey.
