in that case would it not be better to continue with the nutes as still a little early to start flush - I am a newbie but the pro quote suggests 3+weeks 2 go so is it not to early to flush her as the nutes would be converted into thicker denser buds over the next 10 days or not??

Yeah i think you're right, im gonna flush one for an early chop and feed the other two.

This is my first real grow, i didn't have a clue about PH control before i stumbled on AFN so thanks to all the members sharing valuable knowlage and keeping this plant alive!

I never mentioned flushing?

And regardless of starting to flush 3 weeks or 2weeks before your havesting wouldnt realy make a differance as long as the plant is already for fineshing using its stored energy SI

You doin what i did for my first grow the PK and your doing better than i did i had alot of probs with over feed and clawing so +rep to you mate..

Also fluff have you thought about doing a thread for the rest of your PK and included things like what soil and lights your using mate.. To aid you with anything else :thumbs: Also if your growing organic you dont have to worry to much about flushing like you do with chem nutes :dance::dance:

I think that plant has over a month to go...those leaves are still dark green, and with a kush I'd let it go all the way to the bitter end for the maximum pain relief.

Cheers si, better to have a little clawing than a stunted yellow plant like mine I didn't do a detailed grow log 'cause im using my phone at the moment (we cant afford internet anymore) but im using john inns 2 and biobizz fishmix and bloom, lights are 400w hps.

I just find it crazy how little smell comes off these, no need for the carbon filter! would be a good strain for stealth.

I accually just put a 60 day wonder in with the PKs, its a week old and already smells stronger than all the PKs in full flower! Hahaha

I really like the leaf smell from the 60 day wonder, very herby. Would make a good stew

Quick question on drying, its winter and the air must be pretty damp, this buds been drying for two weeks! I know thats wayyyy too long, do I need to create a dryer environment or just increase air flow?

Tempted to grind it all up so it drys faster.

Winter = dry air, not damp. The rule for drying is % RH divided by 10 = days to dry, plus 2-3 if you're above 65% on a regular basis. Are your stems to the point of snapping but not being hard and brittle twigs? That's the sweet spot.
