I'm putting up 2 Optic 8+ Dimmable COB LED Grow Light 500W (UV/IR) 3500K COBs 90 degrees Lens coverage. They are rated for a 500W maximum power output, an amperage of 5 - 1.9 Amps. I am looking for advice on light controllers/timers - options I've considered are the Grozone TP24H Lighting System Controller but when I talked to the Optic dealer he suggested that I could just use any timer as long as the timer is rated for the wattage and amp. He then suggested using an outdoor timer with 2 to 4 outlets so there were fewer plugins and cheaper than the Grozone models.
Since I'm spending good $ on the pair of Optic 8+'s I want to make sure that I do not screw up the new LEDs.
