Hey there fellow organic warriors! I just had a quick question regarding the solubility of Langbenite, and I know that is a bit more of a chemistry question than a growing question, but I know we have some damn knowledgeable heads on the board and I figured it may be something that somebody on here knew the answer to.

Back when we grew using bottled nutes, we would swear by PK boosts to add volume and density at the end of flowering, and the more I thought of it (Other than Roots HPK) there really is not much in the way of organic PK boosts.
For years now I have used Langbenite as an organic rock based source of Potash, Sulfur, and Magnesium in my supersoils, and it has worked quite well when used in that application, but I am now toying around with the idea of adding that to a bloom tea, transforming it from a basic compost tea to a PK boosting super tea.
My question was this.... Does anybody know if Langbenite is water soluble, and could just be added to my compost tea bag during tea brewing to reap its K heavy benefits, or would I have to break it down and chelate it in fulvic acid before adding it to my tea?
Thanks in advance my friends! I look forward to any ideas or feedback!
...Hell, if you can think of a better, more soluble organic source of Potash and sulfur, don't shy away from pointing me in another direction! I'm always open to suggestion.

Nectar for the gods has a finisher that pushes calcium and a couple other things hard at the end, have heard the owner on YouTube talking about it, saying it's kinda, like filling the bud with rocks... I can't verify myself yet. Will be starting a grow using their line shortly. They've got a great sampler of their line availabe for the cost of shipping, and am very interested in the performance.

Yep right you are, I'm guessing that you are talking about their herculean harvest, or their calcium syrup. I've run the Nectar line for a couple of years now, and it works great, but looking to drop bottled nutes all together and switch to teas. Adding NFG calcium syrup or Persephone's palate (made from Calcium Lignin Sulfonate) to teas does help to enhance resin production, but lacks the potash I'm personally specifically looking to source. Same with the Herculean Harvest.... Awesome source of Phos and Calcium, but nothing in the way of Potash.
However, if I could figure out how to make Langbenite soluble into my teas it would cover aaalllll of my bases.
Thanks for your input my friend!

Langbeinite is water soluble @HashyApache but takes a while to dissolve. Bubbling in a tea should help speed the process ...:pass:
You the man Duggy! Thank you so much for the swift response! I tried to dissolve some in a shot glass of water over night just to see if it broke down at all and I noted minimal breakdown, if any at all.
I'll try throwing it in my compost tea bag a day or two before I make my next batch of tea and bubble it up 24-48 hours before adding the other components. Hopefully that works. I'll come back to you guys if the tea is successful!
Thanks again man!

you want the best way to use it imho is make a top coating and/or a compost rich with said items and let that cook for weeks until you wanna brew booster teas.then once thats well broken down it'll add loads of stuff especially with top coatings and mammoth P with a double dose of flowering foods. thats what Id do broham. really modular system of boosting imo.
