New Grower QUESTION : SOG??????

Still researching and reading before my first grow....and I need some clartiy:

If you use the SOG method with autos.....is there a need to do a 12/12 light cycle? (since they are unresponsive to light)

Depends on your setup. 12/12 will keep them smaller, which works for some people with small spaces and weaker lights.

No 12/12 needed. I see no reason for 12/12 in an autoflower grow. If you are limited in grow space size you control plant size by the size of the growing container NOT the light cycle.
