Extraction Question

I had a branch snap off during flowering.
A lot of white hairs and some sugary leaves
I have a jar and some 99% rubbing alcohol can i put the sugary leaves along with the white hairs in the jar with the rubbing alcohol and make anything out of it?

As Agito said yes you can but not much you can do with a small amount i dont think

RealCarlos, are you talking about a tincture or something like that where you could rub it on your temples for a headache or somewhere else you are experiencing pain? I have seen people do add stems, trim, and buds to alcohol and let it sit for a while. Then they rub it onto the skin for sore muscles, aches and pains and migraines. Don't know how much you need to make it proper though.

How would the process work?
Grind bud/plant matter place it in iso alcohol? After a while it would be okay to rub it on the body for pain relief?

I think you can just place the stems, leaves, etc. into the ISO and let it sit for a few days. It should be good to go after that. When I was younger, I had a good buddy that tried to grow in his closet (under an incandescent! Lol!) His parents found his grow and took the tiny excuse for plants. We figured they just threw them away since they were old school and didn't smoke...then we noticed on top of the fridge there was a bottle of ISO with the plants inside them! They were old school and straight from Mexico and I guess that is a common way to make a "rub" there, so that's what they did.

Agito, I think you are confusing making ISO hash with the method I am describing. If you are making ISO hash then you are correct...the longer the trim is in contact with the ISO the poorer the quality. I don't think it would be worth RealCarlos' time to make hash with one branch of immature flowers, so I was suggesting a topical "rub" that he could make. With this method, I think you can leave the trim in the ISO alcohol indefinitely, with no effect on quality, because you are not ingesting it. I'm sure there is an article somewhere on the net that has better info.
