these are critical purple auto in jungle growth soil mixed with about 25% native soil. I used a ph kit that you put the soil in, add some powder and water and shake. The PH came out OK. I checked the NPK and the N looked elevated (as far as I could tell with the kit)... I use water from my KOI pond to water. Iv stopped using Koi pond water as of now. Does this look like the beginnings of a N overload and if so is there anything to top dress to help it? thanks for your time.

Your seedling is looking good so far to me.

Nitrogen Toxicity is commonly referred to as "The Claw" and is caused by over feeding your cannabis plant with nitrogen. Most people identify this issue by the tips of the leaves curling downwards like a claw. The foliage will also be really shiny and dark green in color. Nitrogen toxicity also slows down growth and eventually causes the leaves to yellow and die.

Thanks for the fast reply! I was seeing the little yellow(ish) patches coming up and wasn't sure. I used one of those soil ph/light/wetness probes and everywhere I stuck it around the plant gave a WAY different ph reading so I used the soil test thing.. I forgot to mention that these are outdoor in fabric pots. So the faint yellow splotching is OK?

10/4 thanks. yea, this is day 9 out of dirt. Anything I can do (from lowes) lol to help the roots out? I started these late in the year just to get my feet wet with autos. I plan on building a proper soil and such in a few weeks for next year. I did a small cabinet last year with a scrog and it came out pretty good,, other than that, Im green. < see what I did there? hahaha

Oh, forgot to ask. When would be a good time/size to put these in the ground? I have soil already prepared for about 4 weeks now. My plan is to just put the whole fabric pot (2 gal) in the ground. I was going to wait till about week 3 or so, but im gonna have to go out of town unexpected and we have someone come and feed the dogs.... gotta get them gone. They will be 16 days old at most. mostly worried about rain beating the crap out of them.... Thanks

You can put them in the ground whenever esp if you're going to leave the pot on. You can also make a makeshift shade cloth to help with the rain, or use something to hold it stable like a stake
