DIY Range hood carbon filter

You can blow threw a filter with no problems.
just make sure you use a pre filter for dust and contaminants

That is the answer joedirt stick it behind your box put the prefilter on the inside

yes, you can punch a hole in the bottom for the intake and a hole at the top for exhaust.
hook up your fan/filter on the out side so you have all the room in your box.
that way you can get as big of a filter as you want.
you want to get a bigger filter than you need. for longevity and some of these autos stink like a mother.

Yeah sweet, well i started with northern lights auto fem and NL is known as a lower smell strain so hopefully its an alright start

I've seen a setup somewhere on the web where the guy had a 4 or 6in vent hose comeing off his box to another small box on top with his fan/filter set in there and sucked all the air into that box before he sent it out as exhaust. Can't remember what purpose it was suposed to serve but it was neat looking.

Oh yeah I can picture that, by I've gone with a home made filter and PC fan since it should work for just the one plant, Will post a PIC up but need to find something to cut through the fridge with first
