I am looking at the blackstar 240s and am confused. Is blackstar a manufacturer or a type of l.e.d. I like the look of "Lighthouse Hydro Blackstar 240" They are on sale for less than $300. I want at least 4 maybe 8 units. Is this a good product? Thanks for your help, this is a lot of money to me and I want to spend it right.

my honest opinion is the blackstars are nice but 99% of commercial greenhouses use hps as the yield vs leccy saving is not worth it IMO

if i was going to go leds i would get the blackstars they look like quality bits of kit

I just got my blackstar 240 uv and my girls love it. I emailed gotham and asked about a discount and sure enough I got one. All together it was $269 for shipping and everything. I will be getting a few more but one is working well for now. Check out my grow journal (link in my signature) it has a pic of my plants under it. I fit 4 under it easily and could maybe get one more under there
