:smoke:Guten nochte, herr Rebel! Ve are pleased you are finding it much humorous in the grow-culture icon Sister H.M. Discipline!! Surely der vinking uf das sphincter is now the law uf das tent!! :roflcry: I get such a kick out of her every time I see her, it never gets old! Danke, mein freund! I like the changes in the line-up Rev'.,...Green poison is one of those on my wish list, and I see S & S in the dispensaries on occasion... I've not tried it yet, but the lab analysis was very good, like 21% THC good- that is serious boot-to-the-head med'! **** Hooray! for fresh wiring

Safety first!! (fire marshal Bill) BTW, if any vermin dare to present themselves, I've come to trust in Spinosad! (did we talk about this already?) Anyway, it's very effective, food safe, and nonreactive with plants! It's a neurotoxin that once absorbed (through contact) that send their central nervous system into FUBAR overdrive! All they can do is twitch out literally to death
Most satisfying,... But with some much earned luck, you'll not have to test this out....
Man do you have to be REAL careful when watering this stuff!! Especially before the roots take hold! I presoaked it but still have to be real easy when watering or the medium moves around too much. So far I haven't had to water/mist anymore than I did with dirt! This coco retains water real well. At least in my set up. I'm sure when they start eating things will change... so far so good and I'm happy!!
Yeah it does! At the orchid nursery we use pure coco in certain media mixes for semi-terrestrials, and until it gets wet, it's downright squirrelly! I find that some wetting agent in the water really helps get it to soak up quickly and not get blasted all over... you're right, once it gets saturated, it holds water nicely....
I don't own a pH meter... I don't plan on buying one. I am using this CANNA Coco essentially like Dirt. And I feel with my set up I can pull it off. I don't have to wash it because it was already prewashed before they bagged it up. What's an EC? I'm not trying to be a smart ass... I really know what it is... I know what pH/EC meters are and I know what pH is... just no clue what EC is...
LOL!! I remember now! I was
stunned that you didn't even own one, and were getting such excellent results! You set a bad example,...

Mmmmm,.. nope,.. no sir, I don't like it!! :roflcry:
EC- is electroconductivity... works a little something like this: you know how
pure water is a piss-poor conductor of electricity? Well, the more things that get dissolved in it, especially chemicals that separate into +/_ charged molecules (or elements) the better it can conduct... the (+) cations and (-) anions facilitate the electrons movement through the water, which is why you fry in a bathtub or a pool...( even nonpolar (uncharged ) molecules, like sugar or alcohol, which don't break apart in water, can still provide a "jump", however weakly...) the meter is measuring the degree to which the water is conducting, the charge of the water, so the more dissolved solids and other things are in there, the better it conducts electricity. Without getting to technical, TDS and EC are very closely interelated... for practical purposes though, Ec meters are only reading the charged molecules in there.... and they don't tell anything about how much of any given specific nutrient is in there..... Quizz at 9:00!! LMAO!! Imagine Sister HMD slicing your frontal lobe into sweetbreads if you flunk!! :joint:
Revrnd, you're wise in thinking to keep the grow protocol as close to what you normally do- who can argue with the results?! Not "I', said the choir and pews! :smoke: LOL! I have "faith" in your skill and Ju-Ju, my friend! Plus, the good kharma coming from your sentimental choices,..... :buds:
