Indoor Rebel's Top Strains Chosen By AFN! You wanted it! You got it!

WOW brother.Im sorry for your troubles.THAT does suck bigtime. And they cam from a high end product like Pro Mix?daaamn man.Faux Mix.Freagin thrips.

Oxythrips Cannabensis (Marijuana Thrip)

Marijuana thrips are host-specific on cannabis, but are rarely encountered. They have been collected from the leaves and flowers of feral hemp in Illinois and were isolated from hemp in the Czech Republic and Siberia. O. cannabensis infests the leaves and flowers and has been considered as a biological control against illegal marijuana. It is thought to be a vector for plant pathogens, but little is presently know of it's life history.

Thought this was cool when I was looking at thrips in one of me books.Ive used Pyrethrum with great results.I believe that that micro organisim minosaid or whatever(In jacks Dead Bug),doesnt that only work as a contact only killer? Not a preventative?Maaan I type slow. :D time to smoke a bowl and get back into the flow of things.LOL!!

oops,my bad.I ment Neem oil.LMAO!!damn maybe i should smoke that bowl i gots left.LMAO!!

Hi Rebel- Sorry to hear about the vermin issues;(lol) if the little butt-nuggets are actually scrambling away from you, then I agree with the other folks about it likely being some kinda Thrip... (Those little fuckers are the bane of the orchid greenhouses I work at,... they attack the flowers and can slagg a whole spike overnight )... there are many kinds and they don't all look alike either. The Dude might be right about both solutions, neem and pyrethrin,... (Neem is a contact killer (sufficant), pyrethrin is a natural chemical neurotoxin) I know neem is used safely on MJ, but I've not looked into pyrethrin, though I believe it is, and is the best to use on/in the soil (neem will fry sensitive tissues, like roots, sometimes even new growth).... Definitely check with others first if pyrethrin is okay (it's cleared for use on food plants)... it's quickly biodegradable, and hell on the vermin! The other products that are bio-weapons, like that spray used on caterpillers, do work well, but take some time to wreck their rotten little guts,... meanwhile, they can still do damage. Yeah, the soil is a likely suspect, but thrips are so mobile they may have come from any number of places,....(lol) Not to make you more paranoid Rebel, but the whole general area should be cleansed, any non-plant hiding places, like under unused pots, debris, etc.... you don't have to go batshit crazy with the nukes on this task though, at work we use a dilute alcohol solution with a few drops of detergent/qt to spray (oh, 1 part isopropyl 70% with 1/2 part water)..... In fact, on my last grow outside, I used a similar soln. on aphids and whitefly, during veg. growth only of course (alcohol will thrash/dissolve trichomes) ; you must use milder detergents for this, like woolite or baby soap, or what we use is a water spreader agent that has the same effect: to take the surface tension out of the water, so it spreads and sheets instead of beading up,.. this is also why it penetrates the vermins' exoskel.'s and kills much quicker! happy-happy, joy-joy! :smoke:
...hope this helps Rebel

Hi guys! I was fixin to do an update and the slushy snow has caked the satellite eye on the roof and I have no way of getting up there to clear it off...

Thanks everyone for the info! Waira that's a lot of useful info! Thanks so much! I will be scrubbing everything down again to make sure...

I have a bunch of pics I want to post but can't atm.... I will say the Sour Jack is INCREDIBLE. I will be growing another with this photo run coming up. My new tent arrived yesterday!!! But I have some genocide to do first and then crime scene clean up... better sharpen the tomahawks...

Thanks again everyone! Now I know my enemy... i know what method of dispatching works best. Thanks all!!

Dam reb, hate you got them bitch ass bugs dude!! No good! I got mites my first grow and couldn't ever get rid of them.

Now I use the organic fungicide you can get in lowes! It's good shit!!! I can post a pic of the bottle for ya too! Can't hurt to try!

Just want to check in and see how it was going and say thanks for the rep dude! I just posted new pics tonight so if you get a chance go check em out. I finally got my shit straight and I'm ready for next grow!!! Got 2 more verts just popped soil and the are fucking awesome! Smell like grape candy! With a hint of citrus!!

My pleasure, Chief :toke: One thing nice about the alcohol spray is you really don't have to wipe it up, in fact, letting sit and cook the bastards (if they're there) is best,...(and it's effective on pretty much any vermin) it'll evaporate away (use r.o. or distilled water if you're worried about water spotting); just don't be huffin' on the fumes, mate! :joint: As for the pyrethrin use, if we don't hear from the other capt'ns in this thread, maybe ask some of the other sensei-moderators like Muddy-san, Mossy, JM, etc., or if they can refer you to whomever is the vermin specialist here. There's gotta be a few people here at least wearing that hat! ...... That water spreader agent (or wetting agent) we use is made by Romeo, as in the fertilizer co., but I'm not sure where to get it other than some agri-supply place... The stuff is fantastic for lots of other uses; if soil is dry on top and is slow to absorb, a little of this stuff in the water or fertilizer soln. will allow it penetrate through instantly,.. or any kind of foliar application. It's a clear viscous liquid, something like detergent or partly set jello; it's so far as I've seen harmless, even the cloud forest orchids are fine with it, and plants don't come much more intolerant than those,... The point being, it's worth looking into! I'll ask around on my end too, since this is a great product everybody can use...

Hey Bro! I have a huge update to do after this post and as soon as I do that and put on my executioners black hood... I'll get over and check out your update!! thanks for the link bro! I went to Lowe's earlier and purchased Garden Safe Organic Insecticide Soap to hit the soil... Neem oil extract for foliar spray. Same brand and organic safe. I'll be hitting them up in a few here... No problem for the rep man! Don't mention it! That sounds like Cotton Candy and Critical Jack... Grape Candy and Citrus.

The plants have exploded since but I'm too busy this evening to take more pics.... so they will be dramatically different the next time you see them LOL

Well armed and full of bad intent!! :finger: thrips - how you like this flavah!! Happy hunting Rebel......:D A couple well placed sticky paper traps will help tell if you meeted out sufficient justice,...
That is some fine-ass looking product there sir! I've been pressing my snout against the screen hoping to delude myself into catching a whiff!!:five: Is there really no citrus-floral aroma from the Jack to it? I ask because I grew a JH-OG Kush cross last season, and the Jack aromatics dominated no doubt.... You gotta love Mother Nature's genetic craps-shoot sometimes; you just can't be sure what you'll actually get. I was happy that the Kush side allowed them to finish up 1st week of october, given the unpredictable weather at that time of year.... here's a link to another thread if you'd like to perv on them...https://www.autoflower.org/f44/storms-balcony-smile%3B-2nd-grow-bubblelicious-pineapple-express-white-widow-star-ryder-17881-10.html#post359575 #95..
looking forward to your porn post later!!
