Dude... This grow has been a f*cking rollercoaster!!! :no: I hope so myself... this has been a bittersweet adventure for sure. I have 1000s of pictures from the 2006 trip. Coincidentally within the 6 weeks there were 2 full moons and I got shots of them both times. One from a Ghost Town just outside of Beatty, NV... that evening we shared dinner with a coyote while watching the moon rise. It was so killer. Just me, Lady Reb, the Moon, and a Coyote. Ranks right up there in the top 10 best moments in my life ever. The Moon was the biggest I've ever seen it in coming up over the mountains at dusk... man oh man... I'll dig some up and post em for you... That is until I get new ones!

Hey Reb I have finally got the wife use to the big :bone: I get when I look at your updates now when she sees them she just lays down as tells me to take it easy keeps me from running around to find her ass and from bouncing around and breaking shit. She still tries to hide sometimes but she cant hide for long me and the big :bone: always sniff her out.

Hey my Wife wanted me to ask you if you ever heard of the Monkey Orchid? I'm sure you have... I haven't but I brought you up earlier and she was like "oh he's the Orchid Guy right? ask him...

I found it, mate! It gets it's name from the appearance of a monkeys' face in the flowers' interior itself ... here's a link; http://www.orchidspecies.com/dracsimia.htm It's called Dracula simia; yes that's right, dra-cu-la...bwaaahaaahaa! :twist: Drac's are part of a much bigger family of orchids native to the Andes Mtns., called Masdevallia; these are all cool to warm cloud forest orchids, and have some of the strangest most highly modified flowers in the orchid family(and that is saying something); the flowers usually hang pendant, in lush sprays, often with a very funky smell- they're lookin' for flies and gnats for pollination, not the sweet-seeking bees, etc... I so wish I could have these at home, but this genera absolutely needs constant very high humidity, especially for the flowers to hold up; I do have some other Masdv.'s, one with very trippy flowers will hopefully be blooming in the next month, so I'll send you some pics (Masdv. ova-avis; look it up at the same site linked to)... if your Lady Reb wants a Monkey orchid, she's sadly out of luck for this reason.... Anyway mon amie, there's a message for at my thread too,.... Meanwhile, it's time to start sampling the new stash I picked up,..mmmmm Blue Cheese, Candy Kush, and Lavender... Oh yeah! BTW there's now an auto version of this from CBD seeds... have you tried Lavd. before? It's a sativa hybrid, though it looks and fells more like indica, without the lead blanket feel... Also, a awesome looking stain called California Snow; the pics was among the frostiest I've even seen (single seed centre)....if there's room on your list, these look worthy of consideration! Yes all you say about Death Valley is true... BUT there are months when it's cool and perfect. It's crazy! It's just electrifying. Oh and there actually IS water. We were there in June & July... Dead of Summer. And we were at Badwater which is the lowest spot on this side of planet Earth lol and there was water... 122 Degrees cool with a constant wind that felt like a blow dryer on hot/high blowing right in your face. But there was water! "Bad" water... meaning you can't drink it or you'll die lol but it's there! And there are actually Pup Fish that have been there for 1000s of years or more and they have evolved and survived this whole time out there in that water... Earth is amazing...

Thanks for the congrats on beating the thrips... However, I have lost a soldier (Auto Chocolate Skunk) and two more that are severely injured (La Diva & Auto Kaya 47)... and they may be the next to go down... IDK this grow is just one after another! Thanks again Grad! And I really appreciate the Green Karma! Happy 420 bro!

At the time I was living in Vegas and she was with me visiting for 6 weeks... so I had a grueling 2 weeks schedule - 14 days straight in order to swing 4 weeks off. That was the offer my boss gave me so we could spend time together. He was the shit! :smoke:

2 more casulties... ak 47 and la diva are gonners as well. They lost all their leaves, dried out, and now they even smell like the fucking spray I used on them... this has turned into a disaster. I've never dealt with this crap and its very frustrating... we are gonna have a huge drop in expected yield, the Wife is furious and I'm depressed. I'm also fucking sick of not having access to real quality dirt near by!!! Am I seriously gonna have to go fuckin DWC or some shit now? Can't trust that a bag of promix won't have a hidden disaster? Two of my most gorgeous plants EVER just croak in a few days.. rant over. I'm calling it a loss and a night! How does one lose 3 plants on 420?
