:howdy:

:face:x2! Duh! That's where I saw that strain name before, Buddha,... jeez (lol) pass the blonde wig! I've got red dwarf and purp-K going now; I'm guessing you've tried these already...? If you have, tell me about'm.... Syrup was very tempting too,.. was the flavor/aroma pretty much as billed by Buddha? They don't give out much info about their strains, but I'm curious if what they do say holds reasonably true,...which in turn installs a little consumer faith...:smoke: I gather you've had good experience with them, ay? ..... Ahhh, the photon bombing,... there's no substitute for sheer hours, is there,... no wonder you folken are getting camp-fire log colas,,, *sigh*,...For now, I'll have to admire from afar..! And thanks for the clue-in on your fert' regime- roger that! I foresee something of a circus at feeding time several weeks from now (Green Goddess willing) with can of mixed nuts I'm growing,.. and double roger that on taking notes! Good thing I'm an old hat at this :joint: ..... That is a wonderful story behind Future 86, Reb',....What tremendous sentimental value it has.... I'm not afraid to say I was dabbing a tear or two! Condolences on your father too, mon amie.. :toke:

Gaaahhh! Aren't those little ninja d-bug bastards just infuriating!? We really need a 'facial-tic' emoticon!! I wonder if Jm can fabricate us one,... LMAO! ... no, seriously,.... ..... Dude, keep scoping/nuking sectors away from immediate proximity of the plants, as well as under pots, crevices etc.... Do not underestimate their powers of mobility, honorable Grassmokah,..! but you are wise to keep your boot on their scrawny little necks!...... Lowes should have the sticky cards or any other place with a decent garden center- yes! blue or yellow literally attracts them... Right-o then, carry on!

Quick update on smells...

Three of them that are budding are giving off smells...

La Diva smells of strong affy... very strong earthy affy smell.

Auto Kaya 47 smells of vicks vapor rub. Strongly...

Auto Pineapplegum smells of one of my absolute FAVORITE smells that comes off an mj plant... Sour 60!!! For those of us who have grown it out know what I mean... its such a distinct smell but can't describe it... its fruity and earthy spicy yet sweet. Never smelled this smell before in any strain other than Sour 60. I need to look at their respective family trees and see what they have in common...

The Trans Siberian is still skunky monkey. And she's going vertical like no other!

Hey Waira, Nope, never grown Purple K or Red Dwarf but I will eventually. I bought the Buddha mix pack and they just threw them all in one vial... :face: Would have been nice to know which was which... It said MIX pack not MYSTERY Pack!!! :face: Aye what can ya do... YES! LOUD YES!! Syrup is as advertised and so far so is the Magnum... I looked at the picture of Magnum and turned to my Wife and said "baby, look at THIS! Does this not look like a plant I'd grow?" LMAO Yes again so far 100% satisfaction with Buddha's Gear.

You struck a chord there for me... I find that since Autos go by their Age and NOT the light cycle... it is important to give them the most light they can get in a day. I don't do 24 hours constantly because I do believe that in those 4 hours of dark/down time they do some serious work and benefit from the dark period. You can't control and Auto like you can a Photo... Well, IME the only way I have and seen others push an Auto would be to give it Grow nutes til week 6 or 7... I ran 18/6 before in a comparison to 20/4 and just the 2 extra hours a day of light made a huge difference. When I veg my Photos I do the same thing... 20/4 then straight to 12/12 until finished.

To say Future 86 is special to me is understatement... Also to get 4/4 females out of Regular beans of F3s... I feel my Dad's presence whenever I'm around them. It's crazy but it's true. Thanks for the condolences my friend... He was my best friend and partner in crime lol To say I miss him is also an understatement. Losing someone that close to you f*cking SUCKS. There's just no way to describe it. He always tried to teach me to turn negatives into positives and Dub has helped me do that in this most horrible of situations really... Yeah man they are incredibly irritating!! But, tonight when I did the topsoil spray down I didn't see any thrips on the plants themselves so I didn't neem them today/tonight. I will pick up some strips tomorrow. Thanks for the tip!

Smoking a J sitting back and waiting...

:smokebuds: you and me both Sugarman!! :smokebuds: Thanks for joining the party!

Hey Reb wasn't sure if you had saw it yet but I have a grow log started on the indoor thread its called "My little grow project" haven't updated in a couple days but will shortly if you want to check ie out if you get time that would be cool. Have a great day you and Lady Reb.

Rebel-san! This is good news about Buddha seeds; it seems like they're one of those quiet but competent companies with limited but truly high Q gear. I'm a fair consumer type is willing to give business to both the 'big founding father' companies (trail blazers+$$+resources devoted), and to small/private breeders (envelope pushers/passion/non-greed based),.... As a nOOb to this scene, when I started researching things the impression I got was 'it's the wild freakin' west out there', and it's an absolute scrumm amongst these (now) many companies to grab market share, resulting in variable quality even from some reputable houses,.... some are certainly guilty of sending out half-baked product.... and who can tell anymore about who's a real company, a shadow side-show-Bob company (of an actual co.'), a straight-up side-show-Bob co., a collaborative pseudo-co.', or the jokers who leg-hump others products and then fire them off as their own proverbial knuckle children. It's these latter unworthies that I want avoid, but spotting them isn't so easy... Okay! end of rant!:smoke: BTW, where the heck are US folks getting Dragon gear? It's killin' me that we have this fantastic in house breeder, but no access to her gear...or others (like Dubv) who I would love to try as well.... I find the inconsistent shipping regulations a constant source of disappointment.....
Roger that about the light; of course, that's why they're called auto's! ......The key point I'm learning is that there's a rather limited window of time during the veg stage to build up the physical bulk that leads to those big juicy colas, and to get them it's all about diggin' in the spurs with extra hours of light, before the transition to bloom mode (nutrition aside, of course)...and you still keep the 20/4 schedule regardless, right?.... I suffer from cola envy, that's all! :boob: It'll be interesting to see how well my plants will build up in 13+ hrs of full sun vs. 18-20 of indoor lighting.... that's where I was going with all this....
Speaking of striking a chord,... alas, I know well the loss of a parent... we lost Mom in '96 to liver cancer... I've been living with Dad for the last several years at the ol' homestead, to keep an eye on him and maintaining the house. He's 91 now, and has seemed nearly ageless until the last few years or so,... there's nothing linear about the aging process! health-wise he's okay day to day, usual ailments aside, but has some 'time-bomb' issues that could take him anytime,... however, his health kharma is phenomenal! Many bullets has he dodged,... I guess being a doctor can tip the scales that way! We count ourselves lucky beyond reckoning to have his this long.... :D Alright, I'm off to go scope my sun-bathing beauties! I'll take and post another round of journal pics soon.... Thanks Reb'!

No I wasn't bro... I'll find it and sub up! Thanks for letting me know... I've been swamped... and with the site growing more and more each month is becoming so much harder to keep up with everyone's current threads... Best thing is to do just that lol holler at me and remind me lol :cough:

Oh yes Buddha is top quality gear as far as I've grown, smoked and seen. As far as I know the Mossy's Gear and all related Dragon gear as well as other AFN Private Breeders are for sale at RCMC... They have their own section of the forum here... check it out as I'm sure you can find the site link there. I don't have it at the moment... sorry. If anyone else does know it please feel free to drop it in here for Waira and others...

https://www.autoflower.org/f114/

Mossy said to me once... There are those that grow Autos and those that think they know Autos... I to this day still think no one has said it better to the nay sayers... Autos DO indeed VEG. The "myth" was (I say WAS past tense because any one who wants to argue NOW at this moment that Autos don't veg is just ignorant if you ask me) So if you go into a grow with the mindset that you have 3-4 weeks to establish the best possible foundation for a maximum yield FROM an Auto you MUST kick it in the ass early. The first month to me of an Autos life is crucial in determining what you will see in the end product. You can't "fix" an Auto like you can a photo... "Fix" meaning if you don't like what you see in the first month you can veg another 30 days or more. Hell I've seen in my research some Dude vegged a plant for 2 years! Autos do what they do and all you CAN do is respond to it and max it out. And there is really no Auto out there that is "stable." Meaning you get that ONE PHENO every time out. It's not like that at all. you can grow 5-6 beans of the SAME STRAIN and get 5-6 different phenos lol and each pheno has it's own need. Autos are not for the faint of heart Waira LOL Photos are a breeze compared to Autos if you ask me. It takes real skill and attentiveness to grow an Auto like we do here at AFN. No one in the world grows Autos better than WE do!! And that's because we do it. Now my rant is over... LOL

Yes I do 20/4 the entire way no changes whatsoever. Here's some more Health Karma for your Father... I believe the body heals itself if you provide it the proper tools to do so (Proper pH, etc.) and do some simple things to your way of life can prolong your life. My Father just lived life and didn't think about the future. He never thought about "when I'm 90". Unfortunately... He just didn't take care of himself and when it got to catching up to him he just laid down and died. Simple as that. All fight was gone. No matter what you said to him. My Mom saw his doctor the other day (the have been divorced for years but had the same MD) and he asked her "Is there a will to die?". "Never in my 45 yrs as a doctor have I seen a will to die." It's fucking sad and actually makes me mad to think he put all his will into dying. But
those were his decisions to make and I can't beat myself up over it or feel guilty thinking there must have been something more I could do. When someone has a WILL to do something no matter what it is, there's nothing anyone can say or do to sway them. Even if it's dying. Unfortunately. SO Here's to the Will to LIVE :buds:

And I shall FORCE my Father to Live on in Future 86. And that's the best I can do. :smokebuds:
