I have a couple threads relating to an issue i had with overwatering/underwatering due to overwatering only half the soil while the other half remained dry everyday for a week. They mostly recovered but still droop for a while every time i water, and no im not watering too often or too much. I bought recharge beneficial bacteria, does anyone know or have experience with this ? I mixed it into water that was at 6.0 ph and the plants look more droopy than normal. The recharge turns the water jet black so i had to ph before i added the recharge because i have the visual dropper ph stuff and cant see the color of the ph drops with the recharge in it. Does anyone know how this stuff works to help plants, and if the ph changes with it? Thanks so much guys!

Yes recharge will change the waters PH, I recall checking it the first time i used it and being shocked to see how high the PH went. I called the customer service line and asked about it and was told not to PH the stuff and to just let the microbes do all the adjusting once they are in the medium. Someone else may come along with a more scientific explanation

Thats reassuring enough for me lol. Thanks for the reply, i was shocked by the level of droop involved. I just checked in on em and they do look 70 percent better and are hands im the air...well mostly.

if you listen to the podcast they explain in organics you really shouldnt be testing for ph in most cases because all the live stuff in the "eco system" you make will balance it. so you might see swings but its just the same as nature.

I’m almost positive it was that Scotty guy who answered the phone when I called too, cool guy took the time to really explain it all to me but all I really remember is don’t worry about the ph :pighug:

yea unless you got some crazy water from a sulfur spring or something i wouldnt worry.

Thanks to all of you! Are these worth using if im not growing organic? im doimg half organic half general hydroponics non organic

If you read the product info they mention using with synthetic nutrients
Word bubbles good looking out. i am the biggest googler on earth, but i usually like throwing my questions to the community here as this is the best grow forum around photoperiod or autoflower. Afn blows all of the rest away (this community)
